I'm about to set up subscriptions for my site.

When a member's subscription renewal date comes up, I assume that the invoice goes out before the expiry date, and that any automatic payment does too - is this a few days before? Can I adjust this?

The reason I ask is because the member payment triggers an update of a membership card. If the card expires before payment it causes some problems.

Ah - don't worry - I solved my own problem. It can be found in commerce/invoices/invoice settings
