Hello,

Under Statistics, we see difference in numbers between the Activity Overview under "statistics/activity/overview" for Topics and Posts and the "statistics/Forums/Topics" and "statistics/Forums/Posts".
Under "Overview" stats showing higher numbers (5103 Topics & 18806 Posts) than exported statics in excel from "Forums/Topics" and "Forums/Posts" (3281 Topics & 12703 Posts).

Which one is the correct one and why the difference?

Could contain: Page, Text, Chart, Plot

Thank you in advance!

I'm not quite sure I understand how or what you mean by "Excel Export". Could you please clarify?

I'm sorry, I mean the CSV export from Statistics/FORUMS/Topics and Posts.

Could contain: Chart

You would want to ensure that your dates there for the range match what the overview is pulling. If not, these would be two different stats.

Dates match.   We are generating report from the beginning (2010) to now.

Unfortunately, that is not something which I can reproduce on my own test community that has spanned a similar period. You may wish to upgrade to the latest release and test again.

Thanks Jim.  I'm on version 4.7.16, but will upgrade to 4.7.17 and see if that makes a different.    meanwhile, do you know any other way to grab statics from community?   Are there any 3rd party options you would recommend?

Thanks for your help

The only statistics would be in the ACP Dashboard blocks, Statistics module, and the front-end blocks (if you want to display them).

I'm afraid, we do not have any which we recommend.
