Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
WebCMS Posted January 31 Posted January 31 On Question-type forums, the default sort is set to order by Votes (comments with max votes will appear on the top). But when user's "Content View Behavior" is set to "Take me to comments I haven't read", s/he won't see the new comments if they received more votes and got pushed to the top. Or will s/he? When new comments get pushed to the top of the thread, how does a user see them with the content view behavior set as above? is there a setting to set the default order to "Sort by Date" instead?
teraßyte Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) Yeah, the sorting/share post links in questions are a bit messed up right now. This is why I made a free modification to sort question forums by date instead: https://invisionbyte.net/files/file/284-tb-sort-questions-forums-by-date/ Members can still switch to order by vote if they want to. Works exactly as expected. Thanks!
