Posted September 12, 20186 yr With this plugin you will be able to prevent members from logging on different IP's. There are two options: member must be logged out from a previous IP before he will be able to login from a current IP - there will be error message displayed. if member try login from a x.x.x.x IP then he will be logged out automatically from all devices logged with a different IP than x.x.x.

January 26, 20222 yr A client does not “enter” their IP. It’s set by the ISP typically via DHCP. If the ISP changes what IP is assigned, then IF another member of your site also has the same ISP AND gets that same IP… one of two scenarios occurs based on what you configure: On 9/12/2018 at 10:48 AM, DawPi said: With this plugin you will be able to prevent members from logging on different IP's. Most likely you would want to use the second option if you are concerned about legitimate users overlapping IP usage. Edited January 26, 20222 yr by Randy Calvert
