One or all of your search keywords were below 3 characters or you searched for words which are not allowed, such as 'html', 'img', etc, please increase the length of these search keywords or choose different keywords.

In search there is a 3 char keyword restriction

1. one where do i or can i edit that number
2. it is annoying when searching and you use a you use a one or two letter word such as "how do I edit the tags in the forum"

when ever you do this you trigger the error, I understand it stops people typing say the letter "a" and hitting search but why not instead of having a word char count just make it a search char count ?

in other words if the total char count for the search phrase > 3 run it that way if we type "a" / "aa" (one or two chars total length) it wont run but if we type "how do I edit the tags in the forum" it will run.

This is a setting you can change. ACP > System Tab > System Settings > Search Setup > Minimum search word length.
