I just came across this little gem today, who idea was this? Awesome! Nothing is more annoying than a person WHO LIKES TO YELL on every post.

Might be tough to track down the author of that. It's a feature that's been in IPB for quite some time, I think. ;)

But yes, it *is* handy, along with the one to turn off exclamation points.

Yup I turned on the exclamation points feature as well. I used to use PHPBB (not totally bad software by any means) but I would have to add so many mods just to get the simplest tasks done, many of which are included standard in IPB. Rather than spends hours adding this and that, I now have more time to spend with the community which is nice.

I think that handy feature was introduced in version 2.1 of IPB. I'm not sure who was the original genius behind the idea, though.
