From another topic, having the possiblility to allow certain user groups to avoid the auto merge feature.

I, as an admin, would like to be able to avoid this when posting "content" based topics like guides and such, where one might want to split the parts up in different posts for easier reading.

It would be nice to (optionally per post) avoid the merging, but obviously make it a per group setting :)

it would be even better if you could make it apply to ONLY certain members who have a tendency to repeat post! :)

Just trying to write a FAQ and I wanted 1 post (not topic) per FAQ item.

This is quite an annoying feature if you're not expecting it to be there!
