As you all know Ipb was once a free board... back in the days of 1.x...
but then with the arival or 2.0 we had to start paying for it.

I started a topic a long time ago asking ipb if they were ever going to make an edu verison of the board
one that was free for edu services and charities etc...

has anything ever been done about this? :charles:

Not to my knowledge. I think a Charity should be able to arrange for a small licence fee to be paid. I agree though it would be nice. Perhaps they should say registered charitys only... as for educational purposes, most school/government budgets can afford a licence for IPB.

I agree with this. But yes, it would be a nice thing to have.
Perhaps just a discounted price too, instead of completely free.

We do not currently have any plans to do this am afriad.
