Image thumbnails aren't available in ACP
Hello, Image thumbnails aren't available in ACP, am I missing anything? In the frontend, as admin, I can click on the image folder icon and see and select any of the images uploaded in the sytem. So far, great. In ACP, I cannot see the thumbs :( Why is that? How am I supposed to locate the image to delete in I can't see the thumbnail? Why can the admin see the image in the frontend forum, but not delete it, but he can see the list of images in ACP and not being able to delete them? How am I supposed to locate an image in thousands of images and delete it? I am lost. I don't understand why this is done in such an illogical way. Below is what I see in ACP. No thumbs. Impossible to locate images to delete, it doesn't make sense. You've got the thumbs in the front-end, why didn't you add the same function in ACP where it really can help up manage the pics? Thanks

Hello, I want to set a "custom page" as the deault page any user group or certain user groups will see when they log in. I've tried to set the Pages application as default but I will get a permission error even with the user group having the permissions to view the page. How can I do this? Can I hide text on a WYSIWYG widget editor based on the user group?
Hello, I wonder whether it is possible to hide text on a WYSIWYG widget editor based on the user group? That is, I have a Dashboard panel with links to certain areas of the community and there are certain areas that are only for non-paid members. So I don't want the paying members to read the link to information they don't really need. So is it possible to hide text based on user groups? Thanks

Thanks. In this particular tag, they are embedded images (copied URL link from other areas in my community). I assumed they were taken into consideration too because they are images within the system. I just didn't want to upload the image again because they are already in the system, and there are thousands of them, I would be duplicating thousands of images, not good for the storage capacity. Hello, When I click on a tag, most of the time I will not see any images in the image placeholder. I will see a matrix of colours placeholders but not any of the images within the topics. I don't think this is a normal behaviour because I see other tags that do display images. Is this a bug? Thanks

Why downloading PDF invoices are not available yet?
Hello, These are the things I do not understand at all with Invision. Any business, at least, in Spain, and Europe, needs to deliver all the invoices every quarter to their accountants to pay taxes, etc. How do we deliver the invoice? In PDF format or paper. The later is obsolete — everyone uses PDF. Well, long ago, I requested the feature to just "download" all the PDFs or individual PDF for each invoice. Something, very simple and required by any business. How am I supposed to download a PDF if there is no download option? There are hundreds of invoices to be generated and the steps necessary to generate those PDFs require a LOT OF STEPS and mouse clicks, it's insane. Why isn't that option there? The download of PDF invoices is something that ANY company has, Google, Netflix, any company. You click on the arrow down button, or PDF download, and voila, you get it. It's something very simple. I requested this basic and compulsory feature for every business years ago. Version 5 of ACP and nothing. The Commerce module has been untouched for ages. If a payment system is created, the possibility of downloading an INVOICE is a must. But ACP doens't have that option. I really really do not understand why. It escapes my imagination. It's sad :( This is what we can do with the invoices: View invoice. (waste of time) Which gives you the option to print it and then from there it opens a browser window from where you have to choose several menu options to print each individual invoice. That's INISANE. We just need a click - DOWNLOAD PDF. SImple. And any programmer can do that in a few minutes. ACP has the PDF libraries to generate PDFs, it should be a simple thing. Print. As slow as view invoice. It requires a lot of steps to get the digital PDF. A waste of time I really don't understand. It's so simple to have the PDF icon to click on it and generate/download the PDF. I requested this years ago, something so simple, and NOTHING :( Now I will need to waste a few hours, going invoice by invoice and printing the PDF. This is what needs to be done right now, which is insane: Step-by-Step Navigate to the Commerce Open each specific invoice you wish to save. Initiate the Print function In the print dialog box, look for a "Save as PDF," Save the file to your desired location on your computer. This is to be done hundreds of times for each invoice. Crazy!

Sending PM (mailbox) based on user groups
Yes I am doing that now. I only wanted to know if the PM system could use the same user group permissiond. If the user group permission was integrated with PM, it would be easy.. In the past, spammers used the PM to sell things to members using PM, so I had to disable PM, but if user groups were integrated, it would be easy. Thanks

Hello, I just wanre to congratulate the whole team for making version 5, I am really very happy about it's speed and how clean everything looks. I know I can be a pain in the *** sometimes because I don't understand some of your decisions or how long you take to fix bugs or remove certain functionalities. I just wanted to thank everyone in the team specially @Marc and others with whom I am interacting more often. My apologies if some of my comments could sound I was angry, but I was 😉 because I don't understand some of your decisions about the software. A couple of thoughts.... First of all, I want to acknowledge something important: you managed to create something truly special. Building a community where members and developers support each other is incredibly difficult, and you achieved it. That is not something many platforms can say. That’s why it was so disappointing, as a long-time client, to see the marketplace removed. From my perspective, that decision made it harder for many developers to continue contributing and left many users, including myself, without the support we were used to. Creating a strong community takes years, and any change that affects that ecosystem can understandably feel painful for those who have invested in it. You’ve also developed great tools for interaction, like the poll system, which has a lot of potential to strengthen the relationship with your users. I sometimes wonder, though, why it isn’t used more to ask the community what they would like to keep, improve, or remove. Decisions about eliminating features often feel unilateral, and it’s hard not to feel disconnected when changes are made without first gathering feedback. For me, the true value of a community lies in listening, exchanging ideas, and evolving together. When users are invited into that process, even difficult changes are easier to understand and accept. At the moment, the feature request area feels limited in impact, especially when even bug fixes can take a long time, which makes it hard to believe that new ideas will be implemented. I share all of this with respect and because I genuinely care about the platform and what it could continue to become. Thank you for everything you’ve built so far, and I hope you’ll consider involving your community more in the decisions that shape its future. Have a good day.

I asked you about one of them recently and you told me it's not fixed yet. Multiple courses assigned to different products. Price messes up tremendously. That's a serious bug. It's been months that I reported it and nothing and my system is based on courses and bundles, I can't use it because it will mess everything up so I need to add them manually to the courses every time there is a bundle sale.

Sending PM (mailbox) based on user groups
Hello, I would like to know if I can use the personal messages on the side (mailbox) to send messages to the specific user groups as an admin. I don't want any user groups to send messages to other users .I just want the admin to be able to send messages, no other user groups. In the past many users used PM to spam others. So my question is: Could the PM system be configured so that admins can send personal messages to any user, but prevent users from sending messages to any user groups except admins? I would love to communicate with my members using the PM system, send them notifications, etc, but I don't want them to spawn others. Is that possible? If so, how? Thanks

No, I haven't tried but that's not what I want. My community is about images and a list or matrix of topics should always display the most up to date image, which is the last coment's image. The tags display the first image, which is VERY outdated to the members. I can't edit the tag clouds every single time the topic is updated, and there are dozens of updates per day.

Displaying Topic and Comment Feeds contextually
Hello, Years ago I asked this question but it seems that nothing has been done regarding the contextual Topic and Post Feed for the forums. If I add a Topic feed on Forum X, I would love to display ONLY the latest topics/comments from the selected forums and subforums in the parent Forum I select. Now, the selection is global, that is, whatever I choose to be displayed, it will be displayed on ALL FORUMS EVERYWHERE. And that doesn't make too much sense. If i am discussing support, help, etc, in multiple forums and subforums, like it's done here at Invision, why should I see the latest topics/comments from the community insider and feedback? There should be an option to let us decide what and where to be displayed. Why? On a site with hundreds of posts every day, it doesn't make sense to display a sidebar with the last 10 topics/comments from all the forums, the information should be more focused to display the latest feed from the subforums where the sidebar is located, that is, a contextual sidebar. I am not sure if this can be done or not. For IPS4, there was someone who created an APP that did precisely this and worked like a charm. Thanks

Hello, How can I add a text description to the Courses's main page? I can add desscriptions to all the forums, to custom pages with text widgets, but I can't even add a text widget to the courses page :( and the courses ACP is very limited and won't let me add anything there, or at least I haven't seen how. The courses page is very basic and it just says "Courses". I need to add a few lines of text there but I can't see how. Thanks

Hello, I've tried for 10 minutes to find a way to remove the border colour from inserted tables using the editor and I couldn't find it. On version 4, there was the source code mode where I could see the HTML and edit/remove what I wanted. Is the source code button gone? Can it be added back somehow? Can the editor be configured and new options added? I checked all the table options in the editor and I couldn't see one that would let me change the table style. How can I do this? Thanks
