  1. Bunny doesn't support oEmbed WHY?? wasn't this mentioned from the first time I said- my embed isn't working any longer and I use Bunny.net for hosting videos? I know that you removed the ability to use html even for admins (which is crazy town) - but even dropping the link for the video wouldn't work because.... see above - bunny doesn't support oembed. And yes, we can see the fix - but the box is NOT responsive at all and is tiny and seriously looks dumb to be honest. Cedric has been super helpful and the embeds look just like they did before. Because of the reparcing every video was messed up.
  2. I've looked at a few of the embed apps- but they require the full thing to be in html. I don't want to have that. I just want to have access to drop an html embed code like the prior version allowed. I can't use it in a block because then it shows on ALL article pages. At first look, this doesn't show how it's actually embedded - does this add an option on the text editing menu?
  3. @Marc here is the page link: https://b337213.invisionservice.com/topic/1-welcome/
  4. Adding another note- If I edit ANY of the previous articles that I used the embed code for my videos - they are removed. Sigh. This is becoming a large issue with me as these are course videos and are needed. I seriously don't have the time to go back to every single one of these articles, find the video and edit the code so they click to go off site to watch. This is NOT user friendly at all. They should be able to watch on site. Not sure what to do about ALL these embedded videos..... would really like to have this settled. Is there a support ticket that I can submit? I've been struggling with this for far too long.
  5. I just did this - https://b337213.invisionservice.com/ again- not working. I have added the allowed embed into the posting authorized in admin area. Dropped the link into the page - preview shows, it goes away when saved. Are you trying the replication with Bunny.net hosting for videos? The application works for all the other videos (youtube, vimeo) but it does not for bunny hosting.
  6. Patchworkers Plus+Excited and humbled!Deb Heatherly of Debs Cats N Quilts asked me if she could use my quilt that I made from her Convergence Pattern as the cover for her new release of the pattern this year for the 250 th anniversary ofthis is a page that I have added the link (after the main image) and it has deleted it. I added the link, clicked the world, it shows the embed window and then when it is save- it vanishes with no trace.
  7. Is there someone that I could reach out to- to get additional help on this? I have done everything that was mentioned and nothing is allowing the embed to stay when it goes live or when I save it. Who do I contact for this? thank you!
  8. this is what I have done. just the link. then the globe. in the preview it works. when it is saved and viewed live - it's gone. the whole thing. no link, no video embed - totally removed from the text block.
  9. ok. I did a bit of testing today - if it's a link from youtube it embeds it fine. if it's a video from vimeo it embeds in fine. from bunny.net it does not like. It strips it (actually it deletes the whole thing). I had updated the admin area where it asks about reputable sites to embed from- to show the url possibilities from bunny but it's not doing anything. still behaves the same. In the admin area where it has the embed information - it does mention an app to add for the iframe. I did a test with my video link url (bunny link) and it behaved the same. so even if I was to purchase this app, it does not work.
  10. it's a closed group - the link wouldn't work for viewing.
  11. here are a few shots- the one with the video is in the editor area. The link has been updated to an embed. The blank article area is after it is published. the video embed disappears. what are your suggestions on why this is happening and how to fix it. I really, really need to be able to embed my videos. This update has skued all the videos into weird shapes as it is... ugh. thank you for your help
  12. giving an update - this is not working for me. I had already added the correct url for the embed permissions. I can add the link correctly - it gives me the world option, the I can see it in the editor. After I save it - it's not visible any longer. nothing is there. Thoughts on this? Why is it not showing on the front end? It is visible in the editor area.
  13. I will look into this. thank you for the screenshots. I can see the reasoning - it not being on the front end for the reader, but not in the backend for the admin is kind of funny. Thank you for the help.
  14. seems silly - when some of these seem so intuitive and were originally here. I totally do not understand the removal of html / source editing in the text area. Even wordpress allows for that still. lol That is no fun to have to dig around not only to find something that will get it working again - but with an additional cost on top. :(
  15. apparently I can pay for something additional to get iframes to work again. https://iframely.com/ you can add it under integrations, enable iframely.
  16. This is what I found - it still doesn't actually embed the code in an iframe. It just shows a preview (similar to making my own image) and then when you click it, it takes you to a new page to watch the video. I use Bunny. net for hosting the video. So this is the instructions that I followed. https://player.mediadelivery.net/embed/65654/bae2c6d3-bf81-4b6a-b548-ac54cb41b099?autoplay=false&loop=false&muted=true&preload=true&responsive=true For your Bunny/MediaDelivery video, here is what I would do. 1. Whitelist MediaDeliveryIn your Invision AdminCP go to: System → Posting & Editor → Embeds Look for the area where you can allow/whitelist domains for iframe embeds. Add: player.mediadelivery.net Invision specifically requires iframe domains to be whitelisted before the visual editor will let you embed them. Also make sure your administrator/member group has these permissions enabled: Can Embed External Content Can Convert Links to iframes Those are the two permissions Invision created for this exact situation. I'm in another community where they use IC as well - and they have their videos embedded. Does anyone have a way to do this? Does this need to be coded? Or a customization that needs to happen? I was thinking I could make the layout in forums - instead of articles. But it uses the SAME editor with again, no html code editor ability.
  17. ugh. how cheesy is this going to be for me? I have to drop an image that is linked to another page that can house the video. ugh. Not very user friendly. My videos are for the steps for sewing the quilt block with the pdf download underneath. yikes. My members are going to have a little bit of confusion on this - they will end up on a blank page with the video and not sure how to get back. demographics is 60+ quilting woman. lol that is a workaround - however whatever you drop in there will show up on ALL the article pages. Not just the one that you added it to. So this won't work at all.
  18. You can try something like this with the Raw HTML Block - where is this block? I see the code block... but it's just like what you used for the code itself and it doesn't actually show the iframe. if that makes sense.
  19. In the previous editor I was able to drop in an embed code for videos. Now, the drop down is now ONLY adjusting to paragraph, H1, etc. HOW do I embed a video? I have the embed code.... I don't upload these videos directly to the community area. I use an outside source for hosting them. What is the work around? I have tried the other 'blocks' but they just post the code direct and don't show the video. Ugh. Please help. What do I do for this?
