Site offline

Hi - our cloud hosted site has been offline for some time now. Just wondered if we're missing anything please?

Thanks.

Invision Cloud has been having problems for the past day or two. It mostly seems to be corrected, so I'd open a ticket if your site is still down.

Sadly, customers are still waiting for a notice that there even was a problem. So idk if we will get anything saying it is over either.

There were no widespread incidents. There was a period of latency yesterday due to a series of attacks on specific communities, coupled with tenants on certain clusters in excess of 6-10x their plan usage boundaries. We've been forced to tune our systems and policies to become a bit more aggressive in ensuring fair use for all clients.

We are in the process of migrating to a new monitoring and status platform. Further, there are obvious gaps in communication with impacted clients such a the OP, for which I apologize and take full responsibility. We will be baking in better notifications to our mitigation systems in the rare circumstances in which a community needs to be disabled.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

All I'd ask for is a simple email of "we are experiencing an issue, it may affect your site's performance, we will update once it is resolved or further info is discovered." Then I don't need to spend hours trying to troubleshoot a cloud backend issue.

No one is upset that there were issues (well, I'm sure some customers expect 100% uptime), but most just don't want cloud problems to be a complete guessing game every time. Especially when the cloud status page is all green lights and the sites are throwing config errors and poor loading.
