Most Efficient Way To Remove Articles Block?

What's the most efficient way to remove this block at the top of the home page, for those using Pages as the default app? Is there a setting in AdminCP or CSS I can add?

I created my own database template, commented out the first 17 lines of the index template, and it looks like I want it. Not sure if this is the best way or most efficient.

Its certainly a good way to do it if you dont want that area at all. Alternatively you could hide it with CSS

I'd love to hide it with CSS. This would make site update/upgrades much easier.

How do I find the CSS element to hide? Is it something like this ipsPageHeader ipsBox ipsPull ipsPageHeader--three-column-image-featured

Found it.

.ipsPageHeader--three-column-image-featured {

display: none;

}
