Shipping address for commerce?

Featured Replies

I am not asking for the shipping module ect... but commerce as it is would satisfy most small businesses to ship products.

All we need is a shipping address if different than billing address.

No fancy modules.

Adding the shipping address to the product as a field is just looks weird.

Thanks

JM

Couldn't you use a customer custom field for this and make it required while making a purchase.

Yes, but that appears on the front end of adding it to the cart, not on the purchase end. Unless I am misunderstanding what you are saying.

So you would have

COLOR
SIZE
SHIPPING ADDRESS

Then when you check out, it asks for your billing address. It looks really weird and just isn't how any online purchase works. I know they eliminated physical products. I am not asking for that back.

This simple (at least for me to say it hahaha) addition would cover most small businesses shipping items.

No, a CUSTOMER( not product) custom field, would appear on the checkout page.

Ah, so I was misunderstanding.

That is fantastic. I'll have a go at it right away.

Thank you very much.

Wow, yeah. That looks like it will work great.

Thanks again.
