Light/Dark Mode Text Color with CSS

Featured Replies

I have a very specific line of text that I want to be a different color. It's wrapped in a span and has a unique class. I added the appropriate CSS to the Custom CSS area in the theme editor. Everything works great. However, it looks terrible in dark mode. Using CSS, how can I give a different color for dark mode? I inspected the page but didn't see a different CSS selector for dark mode.

This is the basic CSS I'm using

span.class {
	color: red;
}
