So I went into Admin CP and allowed my usergroup to upload movies. Tried to upload a mov file to test section of my forum and all it posts is a link as attachment. You have to click the attachment link and download the movie. Not what I wanted. I would like to upload Mov files as embed , have the server store them and allow people to click and watch. This is a creator cloud plan that Im on, is that the issue?

So then I went into Gallery , uploaded the Mov file and it's just an empty embed, click on it and get error "this plugin not supported.

You are best to use something that is universal like mp4. mov is an apple format, and wont be recognised in every browser
