Subscription booking receipts are being submitted hundreds of times by guests - fake!

Featured Replies

Hello,

I receive several booking receipts from „guests“ every day for my subscriptions. I have three subscription packages, and these are the ones that regularly appear in the system (repeating in the same order). I have already manually deleted almost 2,000 from the database.

Best regards.

Invoices are created when a user adds something to their cart. If you allow Guests to access your store, they will be able to create invoices like this.

It would be extremely strange if it were true that the same order would always apply, or that all three subscriptions would always be filed individually.

In my experience, it is usually a bot accessing the store. Best you can do is disable guest access or ignore. Invoices expire when they’re not paid after x amount of time.

A user can only purchase 1 subscription at a time so likely the guest is adding and then removing or these are separate users entirely.
