Make status updates and profile comments followable

It would be useful if status updates and profile comments were followable objects, like topics, so one can opt-in or opt-out of receiving notifications for replies to individual ones. The only way of "following" a status/comment at the moment is to receive notifications for replies to any of your statuses or replies to any statuses that you have commented on.

It happens from time to time that a single status attracts many replies, and those who are not interested in following the conversation have no way to stop receiving notifications for it other than to opt out of receiving notifications for all other statuses that they've commented on.

I suggest making them followable and adding an "Auto follow status updates and comments I reply to" option like the one for topics.
