I have big forum , it have been up since 2002 , so my uploads folder now is around 3GB !!!! So it will take a very long time everytime server access and seck file in that folder , but when i make a new upload folder for example uploads2005 by using General Settings and a whole forum changing to use a new folder , so it will show a broken pix if that pix inside an old uploads folder . I have idea , why dont your guys re-code a little bit so when we change to new folder , a forum will upload files to new folder but still access to old file if that file inside old folder ?

I agree, as above. We need something like the Invision Gallery method as currently the upoad folder can become far to big...

Right now I'm currently rewriting all the file management functions for my own board. The bottom line is that there is no easy way to add directory hashing functions .. it requires rewriting a bunch of code.
