Tiago_Baeta Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Hello, My suggestion is to separate the Root Admins and the normal Administrators on 'The moderating team' page. Example:> Managements: Charles Debbie IPS News Lindy Matt > Administrators: Josh Thanks,
krocheck Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 I agree that the staff page needs a little work ... lemme take a look at it and I will see what I think should be done. Keith
brunoXP Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Or you could create some options on ACP "System Settings" section, so the Root Adminscould choose between separate the two kinds of administrators or mantain them together (like in IPB 1.x or IPB 2.0.x).
Dlf Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 If they were seperated it would probley make it easier for hackers to tell which are ROOT. If you were a hacker/cracker (not calling anyone one) wouldn't you go the the Root Account(S)? With them tied together like they are now someone else probley has less chance/knowing of which are the ROOT accounts. Corret(e)?
Antony Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Thats why it should be configurable in the ACP.
