Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted July 13, 200519 yr Hi I was wondering if anyone knows how to add "Google" search function on a Invision Power Board. Thanks  - mo
July 14, 200519 yr If you're signed up with Google Adsense you can go into Search Settings instead of Ad Options and set that up, placing the given HTML code where you'd like it (if you have a custom portal like bfarber's or Dean's, then in a new block).
July 14, 200519 yr Thanks for your reply. Is Google Adsense a free product? where can I get it? Thanks again - mo
July 14, 200519 yr Adsense is for placing ads on your site to try to earn a bit of cash. So yeah, it's kinda free... In fact, they pay you. But to put an actual google search box on your site, look here: http://www.google.com/searchcode.html
July 14, 200519 yr Thanks. I have Invision Power Board v2.0.4, and can't figure out where to paste Google's HTML code into my board. Any ideas?
