Mo007 Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 Hi I was wondering if anyone knows how to add "Google" search function on a Invision Power Board. Thanks  - mo
air-head Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 If you're signed up with Google Adsense you can go into Search Settings instead of Ad Options and set that up, placing the given HTML code where you'd like it (if you have a custom portal like bfarber's or Dean's, then in a new block).
Mo007 Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Thanks for your reply. Is Google Adsense a free product? where can I get it? Thanks again - mo
TheBrain0110 Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Adsense is for placing ads on your site to try to earn a bit of cash. So yeah, it's kinda free... In fact, they pay you. But to put an actual google search box on your site, look here: http://www.google.com/searchcode.html
Mo007 Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 Thanks. I have Invision Power Board v2.0.4, and can't figure out where to paste Google's HTML code into my board. Any ideas?
