  1. Sorry, yes. I was just showing you the screenshot from before to show that I didnt see any PHP error. The forums are working fine.
  2. It wasnt visable for me. I even enabled set 'display_errors' = on and still saw nothing. I only saw an error when I restarted the DB. Maybe I should have used another browser.
  3. Well, thats embarrassing. Its owned by apache and not nginx. I just read that upgrading php sometimes resets that folder back to root:apache. Where did you see that error, though? I hunted all over for a php error message and I couldn't find anything?
  4. What did you do to fix the issue? I'm seeing the same error and I'm scratching my head here.
  5. I checked the status of the db and ran a mysqlcheck, but the tables are all coming back as "OK". Again, it doesnt necessarily make sense to me that this is a database issue?
  6. Hi Jim, No, not for this upgrade. When I did the previous upgrade I think I was running php7.4 which was no longer supported, so it failed the system check part of the upgrade. I upgraded to php8.1 and did the upgrade without an issue. The community has been running fine on php8.1. Its only this recent upgrade which has caused the issue.
  7. I'm not sure that it makes sense that MyISAM would be causing an issue where a PHP session cannot be created.. Also, this issue happened immediately after uploading the Invision Community files - it hasnt reached the DB part yet. If there was an issue with one of the plugins, I would have seen it when I upgraded to PHP8.1. Nevertheless, I have converted the remaining tables from MyISAM over to InnoDB and I'm still seeing the same issue.
  8. I downloaded, unzipped them and used filezilla to upload the contents over sftp, setting the default action to overwrite. I tried again with no result.
  9. Yes, its PHP 8.1 PHP Version 8.1.27 Unfortunately, reuploading the files did not work. I dont really have third party plugins installed, I have disabled the chatbox I had and I *think* I've restored the default theme. Still seeing the same issue.
  10. Hi, I'll give it a shot. PHP 8.1 Going from 4.7.6 -> lastest
  11. I'm getting the error on the 'login' part of the upgrade process I'm not sure this is a 'host' issue as much as it is an issue with the code... I can fix the issue if someone will tell me what the error actually means.
  12. Thanks Jim. Unfortunately, a few of us share this account as theres no way we know of to have team based access to the client area, meaning the emails arent going to my account. The account holder did forward and email yesterday, but it looked like an automated email that links to this thread? Can I PM you my email address and you can put it on the ticket cc list or something?
  13. What do you need - ACP access or SFTP access?
  14. Actually, I'm seeing an error (uncaught exception) on the system logs in ACP. Is it safe to post that here?
  15. I asked around and apparently no one had set any custom friendly URLs, so I restored the friendly URLs to default and it seems to have fixed the events page - thanks! Our pages->databases (our wiki) still isnt fixed though. Some pages work and some dont.
  16. Sure, open the events page (its the calendar). https://veterans-gaming.com/events/ Or visit https://veterans-gaming.com/wiki/rules/projectreality/coop/ Both examples just throw our custom error page. I dont see any php errors in the logs, either..
  17. We've had an issue since upgrading to the latest version of invision community software (along with PHP8) where some of our database pages and calendar doesnt load and we get our error page thrown. As far as combability goes - the compatibility checker thinks we're all good and I dont get any critical issues in our support area on the admincp.
  18. Yes, had not wanted to bump the topic after such a simple fix. Cheers! Apologies for the late reply, didn't see it till today. November just flew right on by. I found the item easily enough in the Menu Manager, had removed it, just needed to add it back. Thank you all so much and happy holiday season!
  19. Had not expected any suggestion to be implemented overnight, and had not intended to infer accusations in my statements. S'all good, man. Here's hoping the suggestion isn't dismissed due to the existence of a paid app which already has this as a feature. Cheers
  20. This is a solicitation, not a solution. IPS also has an app for this - called Commerce - it just lacks the option to send a gift card to existing website members. We already pay IPS $300/year, the solution to a suggestion for improvement is not to pay somebody else to do what IPS is more than capable of doing themselves in support of their own systems. That's why this Feature Suggestions forum exists. If the suggestion is unwelcome or not likely to ever be implemented, just say so and we'll consider it a no-go, and either work on developing our own solution, or do without. Just don't try to upsell us when we are presenting a valid feature suggestion for an application that could definitely use it.
  21. I'm surprised this isn't already a feature of Gift Cards in Commerce -- allowing to Send Gift Card by website Member Name. This would allow their email to remain obfuscated from the sending person, and bypass the need to tell them to 'print' and 'copy/paste' redemption code manually when they do not possess the email of the person they want to send a Gift Card to on the website. Could fit in a member field just as email presents an email address field. Is this something you guys can do, or is this not feasible in the near future?
  22. Hello there! I have been trying to enable Gift Cards for our Store, but following this guide I cannot proceed because the Store Page refuses to show any block like the "Browse Store" shown in the first image below with the 'Buy' and 'Redeem' buttons. This also does not appear to be a widget that I can add though the Page Editing Wizard panel, only options I have are shown in the second image below. All IPS systems are up to date, and we are not using any additional marketplace items here, though our site does use a slightly modified "Brave" theme by IPS Focus. (see final image below) Please help! Our customers want to buy Gift Cards for each other for use in our Store! ??? *edit: to be clear, I have followed the guide and added Gift Cards to the Store Setting.. I have even done tests with 'any amount' enabled and disabled
  23. Found a solution: Turning "Countdown" on (tab next to Events such as these 'Halloween' cobwebs/icons) and saving, then turning off again fixed it. Holiday themes now showing properly for unrestricted Administrator group members. Not sure if this was due to the platform, the theme, or updates over the years - but it works now. Thanks again!
