  1. Browse Guidelines, Staff and Online Users It does not make sense to me for having them in the same place in the menu as Forums, Gallery, Blogs, Calendar. Somehow they do not fit together. Maybe move them next to Activity Stream and Mark site read as before? Or somewhere else? Or add separator in the menu, even something simple like | ? In this way the 2 groups can be separated.   3. Well, since this is not so important for our community, I stopped following this is fixed or not. I have no interest in sending emails to myself via the contact form As far as I know that the form is working for others. Feel free to open support request though in case this is important for your community.

  5. Thanks for clarifying @Lindy! This helps me understand much better! I will open support requests then for few different important items that are impacting my community, rather then waiting fixing in the Bug Tracker.
  6. Hello IPS, In the last weeks, there seems to be not so much attention paid to the Bug Tracker as before. Bug Tracker has now 20 pages of bugs and they seem to keep growing. I have not seen so many pages with bugs untouched/unresolved in the recent past, or at least I do not remember. And I start to be a bit worried. It looks to me that you guys suddenly decided to focus all/most of your efforts on something else (support tickets, main site upgrade, next version with new features like 4.1 or something else maybe?). I guess it is a strategic decision, but some more clarity would be much appreciated. Can you please update us what is your plan with the Bug Tracker? Do you plan to start putting more focus on it as before soon or do you have some other plans? Should we continue to report bugs in Bug Tracker at all? Or should we create support tickets instead? And what is the plan? This is very important to know, especially for customers like me that recently upgraded to 4.0 and there are different issues in Bugs Tracker that are important for my community and that wait for a fix.   8. I really need this option back again. It was present in 3.4.7 - where I can hide some forums from search results, make them non searchable and not appearing in the New Content section. The use case is that my community is focused in one direction and then we have few forums that are not so important for most of the members of the community but very active for different reasons. Most people of the community do not care and do not want to see many posts/topics daily in these non important forums. I use widgets to hide such posts/topics, but still they appear in the New Content section and flood the community. And I do not want to fully close/delete these forums, I just want them to be not so visible / prominent. Could you guys add per forum options for excluding a forum from A/ New Content B/ Search Results? @Charles
  9. @bfarber or @Mark - can you help here? We are missing this random option in Pages and we need some help how to replace it with custom PHP block. Can you give us such an example PHP block code?
  10. Well, yeah, plenty of stuff to improve, but I'm so so happy with IPB 4 that it is ok. I understand that these little goodies will take some time. I just hope that midtime I can find an acceptable solution. So, anyone who already did this, can you post the code and help us? Or anyone who have a bit of time to create the PHP custom block code, at least the most basic stuff - DB connection, fetching random record etc? Please, your help is much needed and obviously not only from me

  12. Hey guys, Before upgrading to 3.4.7 I had different functionalities that depend on the random feature - random article for the day, random quote of the day and few others. Since, we do not have such random option in Pages now, 4.0.3 version (I hope they will add it in the future versions), I need to do it manually. As I understand it, now I need to create a custom PHP block with code that connects to the Pages database and then shows the random article. I have no idea how to do that after the migration to 4.0. I even do not know how to do the simple thing of connecting to the Pages database. And I really need this because multiple functionalities after I upgraded to 4.0.3 does not work because of not knowing how to do this random thing, and google does not play nice with long time broken pages. I would very very much appreciate some support here. Can you please help? If anyone has same block code or similar one, can you post here?
  13. So, with help of support and some extra testing I did, it turned out that for some reason email sending does not work when logged in with my admin account only. Was not able to reproduce with other accounts. Very weird issue. The guys will investigate further. Thanks everyone for contributing in this topic!
  14. ​This might not the appropriate topic for 4.0.3 issues. Upgrade for me 3.4.7-4.0.3 went fully fine for me though. You might want to either open a support request or use one of the other forums. Or maybe fill bug in the tracker...

  16. ​Yes, that worked for me. I tried with my yahoo email and it worked. I got the test email correctly. When I fill my yahoo email for Incoming email address though and info is sent via the form, I do not get any email. ​I will rather send a support request. Spent plenty of time already testing and trying to figure out what the issue is. Update: Support Request sent. Ticket id: 914110
  17. Yes, Advanced Settings are correct. It is the default setting there. Mail Delivery Method: PHP. Email error logs on the server? Or somewhere inside the Suite? So, you are pretty sure the email is not shown anywhere? Can I fill more than one email?
  18. Two issues: 1. I already tried that. Changed "Incoming email address" to my email and it did not work. I tried with yahoo email and gmail. In both cases I do not get emails. Any suggestions?Should I open a support request? 2. It says "This is provided to users on error screens and for certain notifications if enabled. " I definitely do not want my email to be shown on error screens though. This is exactly the reason why I use a contact form like this, to prevent spam and not to make my email public:). Should I create a suggestion request for this? Thoughts?

  20. @Adriano Faria, I just installed and this is helping me very very much! Thank you! One issue though, it shows ok Featured Products, but when I choose New Products, it does not work. It shows blank widget with text Error on top right. Can you help? I'm with 4.0.3. Is the plugin tested with 4.0.3?

  23. I upgraded to 4.0.3 few days ago and I want to start using the Contact Us form. This one: http://community.invisionpower.com/contact/ I'm struggling to find where in the Admin CP I can fill the email address(es) that I want all messages to go. Can you please help?
  24. I just finished configuring my Commerce 4.0 store and it works perfectly ok. I have one important suggestion. I really would love to have a field for extra info about the shipping method. In that field I could just fill free text in WYSIWYG mode about any specifics for the shipping method. And during checkout this info to be presented to the client in case the shipping method is chosen. This is important for cases like ours where shipping has some specifics and payment is done to the shipping company. Please consider this suggestion for the future dev of the product! This will be very helpful.
