  1. I'm going to have to say that my favorite new feature of IP.Board 3.2.0 is the AdminCP button opening in a new window.

  2. I'll see what i can do when i get round to upgrading for 3.2.0 (i've not tested if it even works with 3.2.0 yet)
  3. Visual Skin Editor... VERY Impressive. Nice to see Local Storage being used :D

So for people using IE7 they're just S.O.L. on the Visual Editor?

    3. rsyvarth

They could save the skin in between each page load... or they could upgrade their browser like a sane person.

    4. .time

@.Peter I don't think anyone competent enough to run a forum still uses IE7.

      (...or IE at all ...*ducks*)

  4. I was just directed to this message after requesting a change in my licensed URL. This is really helpful stuff. The only question i have is regarding purchased add-ons. With the "Test Key" i noticed your purchased add-ons are not listed in the service list associated with your license key. Will this effect being able to use for example IP.Gallery on my development installation?
  5. The new 3.2.0 skin is starting to grow on me :)

    1. Andrej

Agreed. Also so easy to change which is nice.

I rather like it myself. Lots of people said the old skin *was* broken. Just goes to show you that you can't please everyone.

It's $350 or so to go through the full driver licensing system here Anthony, so I'd still call it cheap.

    4. AnthonyKinson

oh thats just for the license card, we still have to pay to do the theory test as well, and then the practical test, as well as around £500 for a 1 week "crash course" driving lessons.

  14. Can't believe i've had my wallet stolen -_-

AK, dude, that totally sucks. Hope karma pays that person back for what they did.

    3. .Peter

@Wolfie wouldn't that be something if it worked out that way.

    4. AnthonyKinson

Only reason i had that much on me was because i was meant to be buying an iPad. It was in my front jeans pocket too and was quite snug, i should of deffo noticed if it had fallen out or tried to of been taken. :(

      PSXHosting Ltd.

Hehe Sony will definately be fixing PSN, it's probably going to take a few days but it's coming back. :)

  17. ahhhh, never even thought of doing that!
  18. I actually find Dreamweaver is far more productive. Auto complete on custom classes, functions, variables you name it, also has "floaty" details for php functions. Find it easier to read the code as well, plus I've got my css, javascript and other files all in the same application. Guess i'm just used to it, been using it for years and always difficult to try and change.
  19. I use PHPDesigner for adding the comments and "tidying" my code before release. I use dreamweaver for actually writing the code, still no extension for dreamweaver yet to add the phpdoc comments :(
  20. Anybody have any thoughts on mod_mono for apache? is it worth using when .NET support is needed??

fair enough, but wouldn't the use of the API cause any lag on the "shared" server where your customers are.

    3. AnthonyKinson

nah theres a cluster of servers, plus it would be installed on my own website.

  23. Youtube blocked my video because there was music playing quietly in the background. How pathetic!

    1. Jυra

It was your taste in music. :o

    2. DarkRider

      I hate that, darn YouTube

  24. Honestly cannot believe how expensive things have become in the UK.

    1. JahLion

      Same in canada

    2. Herofiles ★

      Herofiles ★

lol, dont even mention Norway, we had some stats folks on tv; Norway are the most expensive country in the world! Its freaking sick!

    3. AnthonyKinson

well the national minimum wage here in the UK is (or being raised to) £6.08 (over 20) £4.98 (18-20) £3.68 (16-17) per hour. The average price of a packet of ciggy's here is £7 / £8... so after tax and national insurance, people have to pretty much work for 2 hours to buy a packet of cig's, young smokers are pretty much screwed lol

  25. 92% of statistics are made up on the spot.
