How to send transactional bulk emails from ACP?

Featured Replies

Good day,

I wanted to ask you a question about which method I to send transactional bulk emails from ACP.

I have setup MailChimp to manage members in my MailChimp audience.

Can I use Mailchimp to send transaction emails from ACP by default? Right now emails are being sent through the cloud with from: from InvisionCommunity.

What should I do? Can I use Mailchimp or do I have to use SendGrid? I am a bit confused.

There are only two options to deliver the emails. SMTP or Invision Community in the Cloud.

Thanks

The MailChimp configuration in the ACP would just send the data to MailChimp so you can manage your audience in MailChimp and send from MailChimp. It would not enable you to send using MailChimp from the ACP.

If you want to send Bulk Mail from the ACP, the only options would be what are in your screenshot there.

Isn't SendGrid an option if the integration is set up? Delivering via SMTP has limitations.

SendGrid was removed in version 5 over PostMark. It is available under ACP > System > Integrations.

SendGrid removed? I asked because it's available as integration in my cloud. See the attachment.

If you used it previously, it is still there as an option.
