Trouble with OAuth 2.0

Featured Replies

I'm having trouble with the OAuth 2.0 login method. First I tried the version using the miniorange wordpress plugin. But everytime after logging in on wordpress and being redirected to invision, there was just an error "Something went wrong" without any more info. Since there was no way to debug the miniorange plugin, I developed my own plugin so that I could print debug info.

From the logs of my Oauth 2.0 server, it looks like everything goes well with autorize and token, but there's never a call to the userinfo endpoint and invision just shows the error "Something went wrong" without any more info. How can I debug this? There's nothing in the invision logs either. I'm using Invision Community v4.7.24

I can verify if it's possible to call that. But is it possible to get access to some logs or something so that I can know what is the problem?

I just verified that the endpoint works fine. What's the next step to figure out what's wrong?

You would next need to try and replicate this on one of our cloud environments, so we can take a look from there. Once you have, please let us know the URL of that trial

@Marc : Is there a way to automatically merge accounts? When I logged in with my user, I had to merge my invision account with the wordpress account by providing a password. I had a password for logging into the admin area, but how will that work with other users who don't have a password set up? I used to use the old Wordpress SSO plugin before, that's why they never needed to set up a password on invision.

There isnt a way to automatically do that, no. You woudl be prompted to do this for security reasons

But if they don't have passwords created on invision, how does that work?
