Forums won't change to "Read" after viewing

Featured Replies

After reading all posts in a particular Forum, the Forum doesn't seem to marked as "Read." I have to go back and click "Mark As Read," even though I've read and even reacted to a post. If this is happening to me (Admin), I have to assume it's happening to others as well.

This only started happening recently after I added a few other Reaction emojis. Could this have something to do with it?

Thanks!

Forums themselves arent really read/unread. Its content items that are read and unread. So Im not sure what it is you mean here

I'll read all the content/posts in a particular Forum, but when I log in the Forum still appears as if I have unread content. I have to go to the Forum and select "Mark Forum as read," even though I've read and/or interacted with all content.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

Just to let you know, this appears only to be an issue in version 4 of the platform, so if you were upgrading to 5, it doesnt appear to be an issue there
