How to host a PDF file so that anyone can download it?

Featured Replies

I want to upload a PDF so that anyone including guests can download it. On one of my pages there's a button and clicking it should download the PDF.

Do I have to use the Downloads app? If I do, how can I set it up so that it's not available to anyone, I mean I don't want anyone to be able to go to mydomainname/files however I do want everyone to be able to download that file.

If you want it available to anyone, you can upload it as a Media file in the Pages application and then post a link to it on a page/block.

I knew I was missing something obvious. For some reason I thought that Media area was only for pictures. Thanks a lot @teraßyte, much appreciated.
