Is the converter part of the standard upload or is it a separate component? (EDIT its part of the standard package!)

How does the conversion work from iTrader in VB 3.8? Is the iTrader conversion done at the same time as I convert my VB 3.8 board to IPB? Or do I do the iTrader conversion after the VB -> IPB conversion?
