How to permit users to hide posts but not first post of a topic?

Featured Replies

Howdy,

I have V5.0.8

I've been through the admin CP, but I cannot figure out how to allow member users to hide their own posts, but not if it's the first post of a topic? We had a user start a topic, and it had 3 pages of user replies, but when that user hid their first post in the topic, the entire topic was hidden. I've seen older board that had a config to prevent that but I can't figure out the equivalent in v5.0.8.

any ideas? Is this a feature?

thanks!

Hiding is a global permission set. There is no granularity there to allow for posts but not the first post, I'm afraid. You can, of course, submit a feature request in our Feedback forum.
