March 2023 Release Chat

I would love to hear if we've got more Achievements enhancements in March please as its been a while! 😅 This would be hugely beneficial to build on the great foundation it already has. 🙂

I would like to see enhancements for Pages so that topics can be integrated on website in nice view vs forum like looking view. Pages app has been ignored for years.

@GazzaGarratt Excited to share that we are hoping to get another round of additions for Achievements in by the end of the year. Did you have any that you were hoping to have included? If you have already shared those elsewhere in the community, send that link my way.

@AlexJ I inquired about Pages and while we do agree that it could use some love, we don't have an estimate for when we could deliver that to the platform. Thank you for asking though! Aside from Pages, any other requests while you have my ear?

Do we have a roadmap of what is planned for the March release yet?  I have not seen anything in the release notes, and I generally use it to ask additional questions based on what is said there.  🙂

Thanks Olivia. I raised this back in April 2022 and you can see I had some questions and also some possible solutions that hopefully were realistic solutions that weren't large technical upheavals as I can understand it small regular enhancements is the way to go. Matt was very positive about these being good ideas that are achievable. Hope this helps. 🙂

I really would love to see enhancements for Pages and the Articles, in order to have a modern looking way to display and organize articles (hopefully inspired by the newly revamped Events which look sleek and modern), and also URLs that aren't mydomain.com/articles/category/how-to-write/ but rather mydomain.com/how-to-write/

One that I added was User signs in and they have logged in for concurrently for 30 days instead of just the basic 7 day one thats included.

I doubt it'll happen but I requested from the start that member title was merged into Ranks but so it worked as it did previously, it would allow members to change their 'Rank' name to their own personal title (member title) and it be displayed as it used to be before Achievements.

Are we still going to receive an update to events to allow for paid in-person and online events?

Thank you all for your suggestions! Pages, Articles, Achievements...all the updates. 🙂 Those requests are reviewed and then implemented when possible. Our general plan is to continue to bring updates and revamps to our apps to create greater cohesion amongst the software.
