I have had various servers over the past 12 years with varying success. For me support is as important than speed so finding someone that can provide a fast solution and understands my problems and is able to deal with them efficiently and patiently is worth its weight in gold.

For the past 3 weeks my forum was experiencing a number of issues and needed resolving fast. I temporarily moved to another VPS which fixed some problems but still resulted in a slow performing forum. Astrapi was an unknown quantity for me but came highly recommended by an IPS dev who I trust implicitly, so I decided to give him a try.

I've had a few really stressful migrations in the past, probably more stressful than moving house, but from the start Astrapi filled me with confidence in his ability and took all the worry and stress out of the job. I've found ASTRAPI just because of his signature on this forum, and after a short time of communication with him, I've understood, that he is a right person to help us with our board. I didn't search for any other sysadmins more, and I didn't regret at all!

First, he provided to us his prompt service with our board's server performance optimization (it has been never optimized, so sometimes the page load took 30 seconds on our board!). And after just an hour, we were surprised to see such an excellent result: the pages opened very fast, the board was stable and there were no error appeared anymore.

His success in the first service shows us, that he can do lots of things, besides, he was continuously replying on all our questions related to server even after his job was completed, so we decided to hire ASTRAPI for the second, much more complicated and responsible task : forum transfer to a different, better server.

For an adequate price he provided to us the Clean installation service with all the necessary install required, so we even didn't need to touch or to do anything!

After his work, we even cannot believe, that our board can run fly so fast when browsing it!

Now we are considering to ask for his monthly administration service, which should help us to spend more time with the forum stuff, and don't waste it on the software/server part.

We had some serious high load server problems and we hire Astrapi.He is a very kind person and high skills admin.
He optimize Nginx, Mysql, ZendOpcache and Memcache and he did some kernel optimizations.Since then we never got even server load 1.

Vps or dedicated doesn't matter he will do it !

We recommend him to everyone that need serious performance and security !

he helped me optimize an outdated config of mysql and fpm. it helped with the server load alot. Fast responses and he has work dedication. if something isnt working correctly he would check and investigate. He is not like those typical hourly rated sysadmin you find on webhostingtalk.com who count by the hours and stop communicating after hours has been reached. 

Well coming from an Apache world and never having used Nginx, Astrapi agreed to install a test VPS for IPB4 RC's for me to have a play with - consisting of Nginx, MariaDB, PHPFPM, OpCache, MemCache, CSF, PhpMyAdmin and PageSpeed

I set up a CentOS 7 vanilla server for him and gave him root access

He had it all done in around 60 minutes or less and after running through all the configs he had done (after a bit of reading up on Nginx) 

All i can say is he did an excellent job and i would have no trouble recommending his services

For any project beyond simple, I cannot recommend ASTRAPI.

We decided to hire an optimizer for IPS, as I was overwhlemed with all the solutions and advice given. Having seen ASTRAPI post often on the forums, I figured we would try his services. We are a mid-large community, and have many custom needs and redirects setup.

To start, I was told 'I can't do that' or 'just trust me' multiple times, after specifying certain things we required. This was annoying, but I decided to suck it up and work on those items myself later. One of the key points was not being able to make any more ssh accounts (!!!) for other users that manage the server with me. I did this very easily on my own thankfully.

Moving to migration process, our site had a 40 minute downtime, because ASTRAPI did not properly account for HSTS and needing to move the old server's certs to re-setup https. A test version of the site was left in place days after the migration, which I had to tell him to remove. We later had another SSL issue, because our old server's certs expired. Come to find out, ASTRAPI never setup letsencrypt to auto-renew after we got everything working. Another 20 minutes of downtime.

While I enjoy knowing someone who knows IPS has set all my webserver settings, I cannot say I was pleased with the overall experience.

One of the best server admins i have ever worked with. We had a site which was high traffic and without ASTRAPI's help we were doomed. He not only setup our server and migrated it went flawless. 0 down time. Great price and our IPS system has never ran smoother and had faster load times than ever before! Amazing work! Everyone should have this guy setup their dedicated/VPS system before using IPS. He's a pro!!! PM me if you don't believe me =)

Our site recently needed more processing power, as 8 GB of ram wasn't supporting our needs with usage spikes maxing that out. I was quite out of my depth in dealing with a full dedicated server, as I've only ever worked with cPanel/WHM on a VPS running CentOS7. I contacted Astrapi, as I had seen his signature and multiple good things around the forums here with IPS. He is extremely professional, and working with him was a pleasure! Immediate and constant communication, detailing everything he was doing and when. He was even able to migrate a barely used Wordpress site from the VPS as well (it's a guild website for an MMORPG). He handled all of our requests, even setting server backups! We are extremely pleased with his services, and would not hesitate to request his help again. A few weeks back I was having issues with my web host and not feeling secure with how my server was doing.  I was researching hosts, etc and then when actually responding to other posts here in this forum I came across some good posts about performance from the member @ASTRAPI

Doing tests before upgrading to IPS4 Suite, I was wondering if my server was requiring any tuning. I have contacted Astrapi and he helped me tuning the server in just an hour.

Now the test site feels much faster and in case I need more tuning, Astrapi will exactly be the one I will consult.

I am just starting a new project and I had a lot of knowledge gaps to fill when it comes to dedicated servers and optimizing their performance specifically for Invision Community.
