A person with passion of creation, looking for new solutions, unhappy with pre-made scripts. The process of creating a code is something indescribable and incomprehensible for somebody who has never got in touch with it. After all, the most important aspect is doing something that you put your heart into, then you will never get bored or get into a groove. I am lucky enough to connect my passion with my job - I keep providing support and creating new solutions for one of the commercial message board scripts, IP.Board.
In a free time, I am into many different activities giving me both much entertainment and some well deserved relaxation. However, my greatest hobby has always been script creation. Yes, I am a workaholic.

I've been working in the computer industry for over 20 years, doing everything from Technical Writing, Project & Product Management, Web Development, and Programming. Over the years I have worked extensively with a variety of database platforms and on multiple Operating Systems. Despite the "Project Manager" title, I've always been hands-on, often taking on some of the more complex projects. In early 2010, I made the jump to full-fledged Developer, working in Java and C#.NET.

I got involved with IPB in 2007, when a friend of mine started his own site and was looking for a programmer. I taught myself PHP and IPB, and by early 2008 I started accepting requests for custom modifications. In May 2010, I quit my job and moved full-time into consulting, with the majority of my work being IPB-related.

All of my clients are long-term projects, some of them corporate. My clients look to me not only for development, but because I also have product management experience, I can often help them take a basic, not yet fully-formed idea and expand it into an actual application or project. I have worked with every IPS component available, as well as developed many custom applications.
Please note that:
I do not do any design work. Please do not contact me for theme design, I am not the right resource for that. I am primarily interested in long-term, ongoing projects. I prefer to build a relationship with my clients, rather than delivering a single plugin and walking away.

Hello, I'm Terabyte. I've been involved with the IPB community from the days of the free 1.x version, since then I've worked on a lot of free and paid modifications for each version of the software. I've also been involved in several community projects (like the old IP.Shoutbox and IP.Tracker applications).
From 2009 to 2012 I worked as a developer for IPS, Inc. (support, development, conversions, SSO, enterprise customers supports). After that, I worked from 2013 to 2021 as a developer for a big site with more than 14 million posts using Invision Community (for which I also developed several custom complex applications & plugins). Now that the site has changed ownership I am back to working as a freelance programmer.
 
I focus mainly on:
Compatibility updates for PHP 8. Developing applications & plugins. Conversions from other software (with the option of developing new converters for software IPS doesn't support out of the box). Legacy upgrades from older IP.Board versions (2.x/3.x). Support for basic theme changes. A service to keep forums updated every time a new minor version comes out (especially now that IPS has started releasing these new minor versions monthly). As mentioned above I've worked on big, complex applications but I don't mind at all working on smaller projects either.
