I believe once it becomes inactive you can no longer download the IPB .zip file. It's always best to keep a copy of the .zip on your own computer if you suspect this is likely to happen :)

Yes, new submissions have to be approved before they become public. To ensure they are safe (ie: do not contain query to drop a table or two or possibly delete (unlink) files), do not contain anything malicious, and are what they claim to be. There is a bit more to it than that, but that's a brief outline of what I will look for. :)

I don't know what / any checks (same as new purchases) are done for renewals. However, for the moment try Logging out of here and then log back in again, this may resync your permissions. :)

Had that happen occasionally but I put that down to me grabbing a different package before one has finished (i.e.: attempting to download Gallery before IPB had finished downloading) , normally I have to logout then back in again to "fix" it. Not quite sure why, I half think its a FF issue :unsure: Just downloaded now though (FF352) without a problem.

There is a mod to do this for 2.3.x (and probably there is one around for 2.1.x too somewhere) , I'd expect one will appear for 3.0.x at some point too. :) I don't know the situation regarding FaceBook, although with forums (unless local law dictates otherwise) , I thought it would depend on how your terms are for your board (if the site or the post author "owns" the posts etc) Could be totally wrong about that though.

I couldn't agree more. :) Not directed at you ;) , but you touched on the general deletion issue. I think some people may have mis-read my original reply though, I was just referring to the Mass Prune options available where it would only be a couple of clicks for someone who gained control of a Global mods account to empty an entire forum, regardless of its size. I know what you are saying though, in that anyone who can delete topics anyway could potentially do the same thing, albeit it would take a lot longer without the Prune tool and they may be stopped before they can finish their "handiwork" Again, could not agree more with that statement. :) I do think this topic is going off its original tangent though...

It's always been like that as far as I can remember. Although I do agree personally I do not think anyone without ACP access should have access to the forum side prune tools. :)

Global mods can mass prune forum(s) if that's what you meant :unsure: Bad too see though :( , but could of been anything (weak password / compromised email account etc etc) , I think if it was a "hack" then more than just that one account would of been compromised...

Your welcome. Sometimes its better to do it via Converge to ensure permissions are properly re-synced, especially if its a complete product section you cannot access. :)

Try logging out (of here and Resources) and then logging back in again. If its no better after that, logout again. Clear your cookies (probably not essential but does not do any harm) , then go here to Converge > http://login.ipslink.com/ Login there using the same details as you do on this forum. Then via Converge click the links to come back here and to the Resource site. See if that fixes it. If it does not, you would need to open a ticket in the Client Center to Account Assistance to have this rectified. :)
