The zoom level is set automatically so it includes all markers, the more that are added the further apart the more it will zoom out.

What sort of information do you think would be useful in the pop-up ?

I'm not sure I saw much point for FURLS apart from /membermap/ There's not really any other pages to it.
Location (in text) and gender :) -
Quite interesting! I like it ;)

Good to know others have differing opinions on the matter too.
We have opinions, but Rikke speak officially.
Beside, the IPS hosting is not cheap but it became quite interesting because they also include licence, server optimized for IPB and a very good assistance for the package IPB+hosting.
With a vBulletin board you will have left just an expensive hosting -
You don't sell individual licenses, you would sell the entire account with all of its associated licenses.
Yes, that's more correct ! Also if is against their interest, this transaction has always been permitted, and that's quite nice from IPS. -
I know of not a single software company that offers refunds.
Correct! ;)
Beside, IPS have always permitted to resell the licence. -
Great suggestion, I like it! :) + 1

Troskal have you a link? :)
@ Nikolas, congratulation for your board ;) -
Great guide! :)

Hello ! [img]
' alt='' class='ipsImage' >[/img]
I'm going to change server and I wonder if IPB works well on 64 bits server or if it's better to use a 32 bits server... Can you tell me about it ?
Thank you ! [img]

On a 64 bits server IPB works very well! ;) -
Please don't jump to conclusions that IPB itself was hacked.
There are dozens of possibilities.
Correct!!! Recently in a support forum for a famous CMS and admin has been fired after was discovered that he was using "admin" as password. -
Would be a great feature - however it would require additional licences - something that I would be prepared to buy in return for this feature.
Probably on IPS could make a special license do that :) -
Ah, that's a good idea to add an option to "Flag as spam" when managing the validating queue. I'll try and get this in for 3.0.3
Please add this option to all the board.
Many board will not subscribe to the spam service but they can still help all the others by passing the information to Invision ;) -
For the record, I added (in 3.0.3) ability to edit about me and status text when editing a member from the front end.

The only issue with deleting PMs and Posts is that deleting posts is incredibly expensive.
Don't forget to delete signature and personal profile. Many spammers know very well they are going to be banned but they hope that the links in signature and in profile will survive and be see from search engine.
Will be nice to give the possibility to the admin do delete everything with just one click from the ACP. :) -
Windows 7 uses more resources than Vista
[mode OT on]
I hope NOT otherwise I buy my first Apple computer
[mode OT off] -
IPB 3.0.x has a mod rewrite and cannot be as fast as the old IPB 2.3. In any case the IPS staff is making a terrific job of optimization since the first beta release and I believe the result is more that acceptable. :)

Regarding vB. As mentioned above there's only so much you can do with a forum. You could turn it upside down and inside out but then all your customers would want things back where they are used to them being.
...for example the "view new content" as it was in ipb 2.3.6? -
Yes, if you can't submit rep in IE7 that's a bug. I'd submit it to the bug tracker.
Done! :) -
You guys remember there's a reputation feature in IPB3 that allows you to do a +1 built in right...?
I do remember it. Unfortunately is not available for IE7!
Brandon reputation with FF
Brandon reputation with IE7 (as you can see something is missing )

@ Brandon + 1 ;)

If you're interested, I'm making a start on the hooks and last few bits today.
