@Mr 13 We've actually optimized all images in the suite too; the default coverphoto image is now ~280KB. Also, cover photos across the suite are indeed lazy loaded too.
@Joel R Yes there's a background task that will clean up the existing letter photos.
For developers, I wanted to add that our lazy loading utility is very flexible, so you can actually use it to lazy load whatever you want, and pretty finely control what happens (with preload, load and post-load callbacks). We hook into IntersectionObserver which is a new(ish) API in browsers that make it super efficient to check when an element comes into view. Of course, our regular content controllers already handle lazy loading images and videos in UGC for you, but if your apps have other areas where it'd be useful, you can do that quite easily 🙂 

Also, will IPS include a cleanup tool to delete and remake the existing Letter Profile avatars?

Just because a feature isn't in this version doesn't mean we don't think it's important  We can only do so much in any one release. Clubs in particular is a very new feature and has both been used by more people than we expected, and in ways we never thought of. It will take a few releases to add everything everyone wants. I'm really glad you love the feature so much! The vast majority of our customers do not come to these forums. We get a lot of ideas for features through support channels (either explicitly or by asking "how do I do this?" for something you can't do). So don't assume "nobody has requested" something. We wouldn't waste our time adding features nobody is requesting!

Pitty because I guess people wil not have a quick view of everything in one screen.  I believe this should be adress somehow, perhaps using widgets or something but still now the same.

Will this be able to track duplicate logins?

Can an entire forum be "converted" to a club and visa versa?
If yes, will it be possible to show clubs in forum index as if they where subforums just for the sake of organization?

Delayed deletes are, at least to me, a more elegant implementation than the forum trashcan.  
Delayed Delete's ModCP listing contains all of the benefits of a forum trashcan: central location, delete when you want, one spot, easy to find and search.  But it retains the location of the original post, which means you retain context and meaning and discussion flow.  You don't have those benefits in a forum trashcan.  

All what we need is recurring events on every second wednesday on every month. 

Great, but without repeating events on say every 3rd Monday the calendar is not used to the full.

Please can you include the option to be reminded of member's birthdays that are already in the calendar as well as events. Currently the forthcoming events widget doesn't give you an option to include them, or better still a built-in dedicated 'Forthcoming birthdays/anniversaries' (anniversary of registering in the community) style widget would also be great, as opposed to just 'Today's Birthdays'.
My members like to post birthday topics on the special day for their friends, but often have to rely on the Today's Birthday's widget if they haven't manually checked the calendar each week, it often leads to belated birthday messages.

Great to see a reminders function finally implemented!  I can actually use my Calendar for important events with confidence now.
I agree...would it be too much to ask, moreover, for some sexy drag-and-drop action for copying events (or deleting them for that matter)?

Should include
- Time in hours or minutes (eg. 1 hr before event starts) 
- other forms or notifications like modal pop-up, desktop notification, and inline notification

SMS 2FA is certainly better than just simple password authentication and most large sites offer this an option to its users. It certainly isn't the ultimate security feature, especially if you are the federal government, but I sign up for 2FA authentication for any site that has my credit card on file or has access to my bank accounts.
Besides, offering 2FA authentication to users gives the impression that the site is worried about security and privacy and is taking the usual measures to prevent unauthorized access to your account and personal information.

How about letting us fill in an optional name of your choosing as one of the options? It would both change the name to make them "anonymous", but also make it easier to distinguish deleted members. 

We use both Piwik and GA, can your option be a checkbox rather than a radial?
