Matt reacted to Faqole in Team Talk: What would you do with $1,000,000?
Oh boy. The very first thing that I would do is quit my job. (I am stuck at a job that I hate.) Next I would pay off my mortgage and my student loan debt. Buy a villa with a pool, a nice car and put a considerable size of money apart for a rainy day. I would help my loved ones as well financially and I would also invest in something. And with the rest I would really enjoy myself with my utter time freedom and not worry about the financial stuff anymore.

For me it would be Sales and being a politician...probably because they're so much alike!
I belong to an old and dying breed who would rather dispense with underhanded tactics, lying, cheating, stealing and being a general #(*&#$ and get on with finding out what unapologetically artsy, philosophical truth is for myself, helping others find their truth, and envisioning a world which, while far from perfect, would be one where people didn't have to be constantly scared for their future security.  Not trying to turn the discussion to these heated topics, but my curse is that for me this means critiquing things like the Left, the Right, capitalism, socialism, the United Nations, democracy, organised religion and atheism (whose foundations are often equally shaky), etc.  Doesn't make you popular in, well, much of anywhere.
Think of me as Agent Mulder but without the gun, cool badge or the boyish charisma.  Oh and without the suit.  I hate suits.  Probably another reason why I'd suck at sales and politics.
PS I still think Jennifer is ubercute.  No disrespect intended, so please no one assault me with hashtag populism

For me it would be sales. I hate to pressure people. Or any job that involves  sitting in an office for long hours.I am an outdoor kind of person.

I often think I would've loved to be a vet. But, y'know ... snakes. No thank you.
I suppose in the real world being a diplomat would be a problem. Or being a defence lawyer. OK, I know that people are often accused of crimes they hadn't actually committed and so merit the best efforts of a professional to try to make the jury reach a verdict of not guilty, but it'd be on my mind that lots of people professing innocence would actually be guilty too. I don't think I'd be capable of defending someone against a weak prosecutor if I believed they were actually guilty of something heinous.

Gamification is seriously lacking. While the described feature are nice, they are far from being ideal.
Winning most likes for the day does not make you the most valuable, more often it makes you the guy that posted the funniest meme in the humor section. We need a serious, customizable rating system that can be tuned up to objectively rate the members and their contributions.

Probably the most important concept of the year for admins to think over.

Nice post! Great subject. As always, some food for thought.
You almost had me thinking you were officially announcing IPS Gamification though, or actual built-in Core support for gamification trophies and awards to, er, level up the Leaderboard feature! No fair, ya meanie!

Thanks for the overview!  I knew most of the stuff except that, like @Joel R, I only wish I had known about Copy Settings before...alas.
One idea did occur to me whilst watching this: if one uses the adminCP to search for, say, a blog name, and it comes up in the blog listing, clicking that name will take you to its adminCP page so you can edit settings and so forth.  What if that listing also included A "View on Site" option?  The option to go directly to that blog (or any other forum, gallery, download category) on the site would save a bit of time versus having to click the Visit Site button, then browsing to blogs in the menu, selecting your blog, etc. etc.

Great video. I pulled 2 things out of this I did not know or use really. I usually look at the member section for members and then to advance search if all I have is an email. Now I'll use the ACP search system. Very easy.
Second is the copy setting, never used it. Very nice.

Still it's a clever tool, especially when you come back to look at GDPR after a while and it lists everything you may need or have forgotten about. ?

That's probably the search keywords we add manually. When you want to prune, you might want the logs.

    Oh. My. God.
I thought I was fairly proficient in my ACP but apparently I'm peon-level.
Copy settings - When did you invent this?? Where is this magic and wonder coming from?? Why have I never used this before?? I had no idea what this was until I watched your video.  Ive clicked in the button before but honestly thought this was some trivial dev tool that I never needed.  Do you know how many categories and boards in ALL of my apps where I've gone and manually copy-and-paste a setting?? There were times where all I did in one afternoon was go through hundreds of category settings to change a value.  This is blowing my mind.  I don't have any settings to change right now but who cares.  I'm now gonna change all settings in all my boards.

Onlyme has a few widgets and applications that you can use as blocks and therefore add them in the page builder.
They are super simple and I use them regularly

I can look at using the "zoom" function on Camtasia? Did you go full screen? There was some compression (was around 500mb) on the video but it looked watchable.

Great to see these videos being done, thank you.
For info, I needed one of these to see it, even at 1080p in the YouTube app...

Reacher is also formulaic, but that's some of the appeal.

    Also:
