When I’ve seen page not found errors it has been because the page being requested was not visible to guests. Remember Adsense crawls your site as a guest. If it is posted on a page that requires being logged in to view, the crawler can’t access it.
This is part of why I made ads visible to guests not logged in on my site when I did Adsense.Yes, all the pages are not available to guests, which is why we gave AdSense admin access through the Crawler Access section of AdSense. And it shows it's crawling, but the errors remain.
So is that an option in AdSense, where we can disable ads on pages that aren't accessible to guests? The revenue is so small from logged in people that it doesnt matter.

It doesnt matter what we do, we just can't seem to get the AdSense policy centre to clear these alerts. We've given AdSense admin access so it should be able to see the hidden pages that are causing the errors and they're all from the same part of the forum.
Just wondering if anyone had come across anything like this before? I can't see from the previous posts on here.

Hi all
We recently moved URLs from website.com/talk to the subdomain talk.website.com - do we need to do anything to switch the licence over to the new domain?
Our automation is no longer working and we're wondering if it's related to this.
Backend alert:
License Key Invalid
The license key in use is not valid for this site. Please contact support for further information.

Hi
We have the same issue, but we moved URLs from website.com/talk to the subdomain talk.website.com - do we need to do anything to switch the licence over to the new domain?
Thanks

Hi guys
Getting quite a few emails from new joiners who are saying the 'Validate my Email address' button isn't working. Some are able to get it on the second send. Just wondering how or where to troubleshoot this?
Thanks

thanks guys, in the end we just created an html element via js loaded via google tag manager - or so they tell me!

Search is not pulling anything up, but maybe someone is aware of such a feature or more likely a plugin?
Just the standard button seen on desktop and mobile to ping the user up to the top.
Thanks

Hey Ehren
I changed the global setting for Return Key Behavior back to start new paragraph. Seems it wasn't a copy/paste issue, it's just when Return Key Behavior = Go to next line, you can't add any white space between paragraphs. I guess this is to prevent lots of white space?

Hi all
Recently set it to Return Key Behavior = Go to next line (as requested by users).
Seems to be an issue with pasting text and the spaces between paragraphs. Even when copying and pasting from notepad (ie no rich text).
Example:
In editor it looks fine:
But when the post is shown on the front, the spaces are lost:
This particular member is very passionate about the spaces here! Any ideas how to fix this?
(i tried a new post with the content coming from notepad, definitely seems to be an issue with pasting text)
Thanks
Darren

Hi guys
I've searched everywhere but can't seem to figure out where I can disable the double / 1.5 line spacing when hitting Enter to start a new line - is this even configurable?
I personally like the way this works, but out forum users are so old skool that anything away from the norm is frustrating to them!
I know you can hit
SHIFT+ENTER
to avoid double spacing, but ideally this can be default. Thanks

We already have our Invision Community setup and functional, but we need to integrate into our news articles to replace our legacy comments section and drive readers/commenters to the relevant article on the forum. Something like this:
This way, they're encouraged to write their comment, before being told to create an account. And ideally, once the comment is made, it attaches to the thread/article in question. AND if the reader already has an account, they're able to just enter their comment without needing to sign in again
Then above that, we display the recent comments in a nice looking window (currently have this already but doesn't look great:
We'd also want to display recent comments on our homepage and article pages - a bit like what we have on the forum page:there's probably already a good plugin/widget for this. We could use a vertical one on the right side of the article pages but we'd need a horizontal one for the Home Page. And then any other suggestions for how we can improve the forum offering and help to drive more people.Open to offers or hourly rates. Not a lot of work, but would ultimately lead to more projects and enhancements in the future. Thanks -
Hi all
I'm looking for the best option/plugin for displaying the text field at the end of articles. Something to encourage readers to comment, just like what we have on the actual forum. We're looking to replace our comments section with the forum. We are already displaying the most recent comments underneath, but in this example there are no comments.
Something like this:
Also, what's the best way/plugin for displaying the most recent comments from the forum, eg on the homepage?
Many thanks
Darren

Hi guys
Is there a tool or plugin for automatically flagging posts for moderation that contain certain words?
For example, we're based in Thailand, so anything said about the King or Royal Family is a big no-no, and we need to moderate every post that contains the word 'King'.
I cant see anything in the Auto Content Moderation settings that would let me add a list of words to auto flag when used - or am I missing something!?
Thanks

Thanks guys, i'll take a look at these plugins now

I can't find the option to disable outbound links in the member group attributes or in the setup guide. Is this possible? Perhaps only let those members who've reached level 3 membership status to post outbound links?
Otherwise, it's just the mods constantly deleting them!
Thanks and sorry if i missed
-
thanks, will give that a try!

Hi all, sorry if this is already mentioned somewhere but I wasnt sure the options I found exactly matched my request.
So we have an rss feed sending our news articles to the forum where people can comment, but we also want to feed these comment back to the article (on the WP site), so reader can see what's being discussed and are encouraged to join in. We're looking to replace our comments function with the forum, so it's important that we can display at least some comments under each news article.
I suspect there must be a widget for this. I'm not sure Blog Collection 1.0.3 is that though?
Thanks

Thanks @Randy Calvert and @DawPi, we've added Randy's code and appears to work, now just need to wait for those pages to be crawled again.
Cheers!
