  1. The conversion went swiftly and so far everything seems to be working fine. Invision's converter made it seem like a piece of cake once I figured out that I had to include the everything in the path. I want to thank everyone for their help.
  2. I figured out what I did wrong. I had to add /home/etc/public ...
  3. Ok so I keep getting invalid path for my avatars even though I've entered the correct path. Any ideas? Public_html/Xenforo/data/avatars/ This is typically: /path/to/xenforo/data/avatars The path entered appears to be invalid.
  4. Do I have to fully install invision before I start the conversion?
  5. So I managed to transfer the XF database and get it to work well. I just downloaded invision and I'm going to begin the conversion process in about 20 minutes. Wish me luck!
  6. I redownloaded the ips suite from my client area under manage purchases, uploaded but no option for pages in the applications section.
  7. I just purchased the Pages app and I'm just curious as for where do I download it from? Do I have to redownload the whole invision forum software again or is it a separate download? Thanks!
  8. I'm still dealing with the restoring his back up on to my server. So many issues with the dude's host and not to mention he's ever hardly on during the day speed things up. I have a feeling that the conversion will much less of hassle if and when I get to it.
  9. Good idea. Once I get the sql imported without any issues I'll definitely do that.
  10. No I meant the forum’s database backup. I’m importing it to my server from the previous owners server etc. one and hopefully I get it working on mine I’ll start the conversion process.
  11. I don’t even think I’m going to get to that point. Trying to restore the backup keeps crashing on me and for my host. Keep your fingers crossed for me lol.
  12. Hmmmm I’m definitely not expert but one of the issues that I had with my logo at first was that there was too much space around it. So I made the logo with no space around it and it worked. It’s just an idea that’s you could mess with.
  13. Xenforo is installed in the root hence why Im kind of confused on where to upload my invision folder.
  14. The only way I know how is by making your header larger. Did you try that? Theme/settings?
  15. Question.. I upload all the invision files to my public_html folder but what do I do with Xenforo files that are already in there? I can't delete the xenforo files yet I'm assuming because I need to do convert no?
  16. Sounds like a plan and thanks for the advice.
  17. This forum is pretty small compared to that. I’m hoping that if I convert it goes easy.
  18. What does that mean the indexing of XenForo?
  19. So far it works like a charm. Thanks Adriano!
  20. This one wont be on cloud. I'd by the actual forum software and have it on my host.
  21. I just bought a forum that runs on Xenforo and I'd like to convert it to Invision. Is it possible to do and if so how difficult is it? Thanks..
  22. I’d definitely like to try it out Adriano.
