  1. I seem to remember back in IPB 4.5.x, when you clicked MARK SITE READ after browsing a search results list of topics, the screen would flash and all the topics listed would be cleared.  But after 4.6 upgrade, the topics are no longer cleared from the screen until you click browser refresh.  The feature does work...if you click UNREAD CONTENT, then no new results will pop up.  Just wondering if anyone else noticed this?  Hopefully it is a bug and could be restored to the way it used to be!

    That looks like a caching issue. Certainly not an issue I encountered in 4.6.

    Indeed...CTRL+F5 didn't clear it but a full browser re cache did the trick!  Thank you sir!

    I just sent you the fix via private message. I don't want to post it here because this forum is now open to public so this may help those who use nulled versions.

    If anyone else needs the fix, send a PM. Final version should be out soon.

    I am getting this error as well...

    (Un)fortunately, Firefox disables auto audio/video playback by default. Users will have to allow audio via the drop-down at the left of the address bar:

    Ah OK...Thanks for the info!!

  5. I was messing around with this plugin but I can't seem to get any sound effects on Firefox...it does seem to work OK on Microsoft Edge and Chrome even though the plugin says no Chrome support.  Any ideas?

    Hi everyone,

    how do you change the little new marker next to topics with new postings?

    I was looking through the resouces of the default themes as well my custom theme, but it does not seem to be part of it ...

    I don't think the NEW badge is a default thing...looks like an IPSFocus theme that you are running.  Take a look at this:

  7. @Martin A. I just installed the update from the marketplace and now my map centers on Bermuda and all my markers are gone.  I refreshed the server and all but no change.  The map itself actually scrolls up over my header also...not sure by I think something may be wrong?

    ETA: FIXED!  It was an issue with my server/cronjob...everything is working perfect now!

    Thanks Martin!!

  8. I ran into a minor issue today...I was trying to upload a .gif image to the tutorial cover image but it kicked me to a blank white page when I hit SAVE.  I tried several times with the same result.  The tutorial I was posting did post with the gif attached but the gif did not show.  I ended up replacing the gif with a static png and it worked fine.

  9. I am having he same issue...the edit icon is missing on some of the styles.  If you switch to Style 2, you should be able to edit.

    I also noticed that some of the CSS seems off.  I can only use style 2 and 3, all the others look off in some fashion.

    Run the support tool to fix and then apply the patch to prevent this occurring 🙂

    Ok Thanks!  I got it fixed up.  Seems like the map still updated, I am at 1.0.4 when my CSS came back!

  11. Hope someone bumps MIND up to 4.5...I am looking for a free theme with sticky header to mess around with!  I don't like to customize my default theme in order to make upgrades easier!

    That would indicate that there are no tags setup in ACP -> System -> Posting -> Tags. If you are using a closed tag system, tags have to be defined there.

    I have tags set up in individual forums for use with the closed system.  If I were to add tags to ACP -> System -> Posting -> Tags, would they be available everywhere that tags are allowed?  I don't want tags anywhere else other than where I have them set up.  This is why I would like to turn the blog tags off.

    With a previous v4.5.x change in recent weeks, the Customization/Theme settings added a new limit to the size of the Logo Image to 100% of the banner. That forces all our themes to reduce the size of the photo to unusable. Is there a way to make the photo larger (increasing the limiter above 100%) or increase the banner size by 4 so that 100% becomes usable again?

    I use this code in my custom css for a larger logo...maybe it will help you?

    /* Adjust header height. */
    #elSiteTitle, #elLogo {
        margin-top: 10px;
        margin-bottom: 10px;
        height: 250px !important;
    }

  14. It's hard to explain...

    When I created a blog, it asked to add tags like any other topic you start, but I turned off that option on all my forums except the 4 that I do use tags in.  There is no setting to turn tags off when creating a blog.  I did submit a ticket and they said there was no option and invited mt to add this post to feedback and ideas for consideration.

    I'm going to assume you use Radical Tags as I did this while it was disabled with no issues. Please reach out to the mod author @RocketStang

    No, I don't have Radical Tags...I was hoping the Devs would add this option to the Blog core settings.  I only use tags and prefixes for a couple forums in a closed system...each forum has a couple tags like for sale and WTB, etc.  I don't really need a big tag system!  Just want to turn the option to add them off with in blogs.
