Hi @Miss_B, Indeed, that line of php.ini (disable_functions) is blocked. Now it works when you remove it.

Are you on a shared hosting plan or do you manage your own Vps/Dedicated box?
If the former, then there is nothing that you can do about it. Some hostsmay choose to disable the PHP function phpinfo() for security reasons, because it displays information which may be used to compromise the server that your site is running on. In that case you should contact your host and ask them if they can enable it.
If the later, at the php.ini file find the following line: (it's located athe disable_functions directive)
disable_functions = phpinfo
and change it to disable_functions = and save the changes. That should enable phpinfo. Hope it helps.

It sounds like it’s disabled by your webhost.

Miss_B reacted to Marc Stridgen in Need Help with the Forums while transfer to PHP 8.0 version
That would indicate the details you added to your conf_global.php file may be incorrect, so I could suggest checking those. That said, check the permissions on your conf_global.php file too in order to ensure your site can read it

Miss_B reacted to Nathan Explosion in Need Help with the Forums while transfer to PHP 8.0 version
Have you uploaded this to your site to ensure all is well?

Miss_B got a reaction from Marc Stridgen in prevent spam in reports?
That will require a custom app.

Miss_B reacted to Marc Stridgen in Performance improvement tips / settings
Your server is what you should be looking at in order to gain performance, rather than any settings in the admin CP. Items such as ensuring mySQL is optimised correctly, for example

Miss_B got a reaction from Igor Denisov in Fb login error
You can change the login method at your Admin Panel->Login & Registration->Methods. While editing the Standard option, select the desired method where it says: Authentication Type.

Not a.f.a.i.k. You can request one though at the Feedback forum and hopefully it will be taken into consideration.

Miss_B reacted to Jim M in Fatal Error following Malware Attack
If you are unsure whether or not the malware existed in your backup of your files or if there is a backdoor, I would recommend replacing the files for good measure. Noting the version you're on, you will need to do an upgrade though. You can perform a manual upgrade to upload files which is detailed here:

Miss_B got a reaction from Malcolm M in Error when trying to import from XenForo 2.2.13 to Invision Community v4.7.13 - (error 2V101/A)
Changing the datatype of the aforementioned field from INT to BIGINT most likely will solve the issue.

Miss_B reacted to Marc Stridgen in Error when trying to import from XenForo 2.2.13 to Invision Community v4.7.13 - (error 2V101/A)
Speaking to my colleague, the display order for fields is set to a number on xenforo which is very very large. If you change that value in the database, it will correct the issue.
You should not however change the IPS database

Miss_B reacted to Alex Duffy in Restricted moderators - Can See All Records - will not save checked
Thankfully Invision Support was able to deploy an updated configuration to the Cloud to allow these larger forms to work. They are going to revisit how this form works in v5, so it's still as powerful but not as huge.

Miss_B got a reaction from Alex Duffy in Restricted moderators - Can See All Records - will not save checked
Glad to see that the issue has been solved. Do you mind sharing the solution as it will help other members as well who might run into the same problem.

Miss_B got a reaction from I_cant_Swim_ in Manual Backup in cPanel
After you go to the Backup section in your cPanel, click the Select Partial Backup link and from there select the Mysql Databases option. That will display all the databases that you have created. Select only the database that you have used to install your Ipb forum from the list and that should do it.
If you don't know the name of your forum 's database you can get it from the conf_global.php file. sql_database is what holds the database name.
That is if you have used separate databases for your forum and Wordpress. If you have installed both of them in the same database go to the database in question and after clicking the Export button, unselect the wordpress tables.
That was for manual backups. You can also set up automated backups through the Cron section at your cPanel.
A word of advice, if I may, it's best to always check the backup afterwards to make sure that it has been done properly and it's not corrupted.
If you have SSH or Telnet access to your site, you can also back up your database via SSH or Telnet.
Whereas to make a backup of the forum files, you can do it either through a Ftp program or the File Manager section at your cPanel. Either method will do. The later is quicker and more efficient imo.
Hope it helps.

Miss_B reacted to Marc Stridgen in My site is "choking"
We would not offer optimisation of your own server. Thats something you would need to contact your hosting company on. If you are referring to cloud, we take care of all that so you dont need to

Miss_B got a reaction from LiveG in Changing ACP password
To create a new password, you can either generate it through the follow link:
http://www.htaccesstools.com/htpasswd-generator/
or through the command line. Either method will work.

Miss_B got a reaction from Hisashi in Upgrade Error [4.7.8 > 4.7.13]
It's strange that the upgrader threw an error about a missing column when in fact that was not the case. Anyways, if everything works fine with the chart then you have nothing to worry about imo.
-
Miss_B got a reaction from Hisashi in Upgrade Error [4.7.8 > 4.7.13]
This error indicates a missing field. Can you check the ips_core_saved_charts table at the database and see if the chart_timescale column is indeed missing?
