  1. hello, I contacted IPS support, and it was the IPS license which expired, so I renew it and managed to upgrade IPS to 4.5 ! We are using multiple copies of the same theme on our forum, but with diffrent colors combinations, this allows us to switch between dark an light theme for example. you can see hereunder all the copies we've created. The first ones (with pascalou in the name) are old drafts without all the final tweaks (only accessible for admins), the 2 last ones in the list are used by all the users. I linked all my themes to the marketpalce "DreadNought theme" in order to be able to apply the update, and wanted to start the upgrade with the fist one (draft for testing). it was done successfully. So I wanted to do the same with the other ones, but when I get to the marketplace page, I can't update anymore: This resource is already installed and up to date So now I'm stuck with the Default theme in version 2.2.4, and i can't upgrade it anymore because it has been applied on a dreft/test copy!!! Could you please tell me how can I upgrade the other themes or at laest the one set as "default"? If I delete the first draft theme (in 2.2.7 now), will I be able of applying the update the Default theme we are using? or i might be stuck without anyway to apply the update again ? (i'm affraid to try this). I contacted IPS support first and below is their answer: Please help me, because my dreadnought license expires on 10/01. Regards.
  2. Hello, My license expires on 10/01/2020, and I would like to download the latest version before upgrading IPS, but i'm getting this message on the download page: "Sorry, you aren't permitted to download this file." May I know what do I need to do ? Thanks

  5. Many thanks, now that you gave me the answer, I feel stupid, because I could'nt see this menu ! The search function is working perfectly now. We basically exported the tables forums_forums, forums_topics, forums_posts and core_members. compared the structure of the new DB, ran some scripts for adapting, and imported in the new DB + some additional adjustments. Thanks again for your help!

Hello, We've migrated successufiily forums_topics; forum_posts; ...etc from another IPS DB (older version), and everything worked fine, except the searching resulats which are giving random results: - for new topics created on the new ips installation, searching works fine - for old imported topics, searching is totally random, some searchs are working and some are not. We tried to move, the topics, hoping it will force indexing them, but it worked partially. If we edit the title of a topic, then change it back to it's original state, then it works. but as you can imagine, we can't do this manually on every single topic. Could you please tell me how could we fix this problem, or may be how to force re-indexing the topics/posts for getting the search results work again? Thanks in advance

Hello, I'm new on IPS, and Ihave some questions about the billing, so sorry in advance if the answers are already availble on the forum, but I couldn't find them: I opted for the self hosted license, and payed using paypal. I'm not interesed in renewing the support after 6 months, and I didn't find any option on the client area nor on paypal for disableing the automatic renewal. does it mean that I will be charged after 6 months anyway ? If not, and the renewal is not activated, I understand that I won't have any further access to the support, but : Can I keep using IPS after the 6 moths delay? or the license will be expired and the forum locked ? If I can keep using IPS. Will I get the minor updates anyways? Or I will be stuck with the latest version Availble before the 6 moths experiacy ? Same question for additionnal plugins/applications: i'm interested in getting some applications, but I would like first to know if the renewal after 6 months is automatic, because it is always dispalyed in the checkout (see belox), or can it be disabled ? Is the renewal required for getting only support, or support and future updates ? (What I mean: Is it possible to get application updates without renewal?) If I don't renew the license, Am I allowed to keep using the application ? or it will be locked ? Thanks in advance.
