  1. Maybe I'm doing it wrong li.nbPinnedPin > div.ipsDataItem_main:hover{ cursor: s-resize; }
  2. Thanks. Or even div { cursor:s-resize; } I tried to follow your instructions but I can't make it work on our test site. Also the expand/collapse text is definitely not working either on our test site or our live site https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/183-postal-and-delivery-services/
  3. Also, maybe a little cosmetic glitch – which doesn't seem to affect anything. Once you have clicked "click to expand", it changes to it "click to collapse" but then it doesn't change back and stays that way whether the topics are expanded or collapsed. And by the way I love the animation where it sort of slides open rather than pulls up and down. Very nice
  4. This is a very smart plug-in. I've only just noticed it but I purchased it immediately because we have too many sub- forums with long lists of pinned topics that take up too much space. Here's a feature request – any chance that the mouse pointer could change shape rather than simply into a cursor when it hovers over the bar. Changing into a hand or changing colour or getting bigger – or a combination of any of those would be extremely helpful At the moment, many people simply won't notice it which is a shame.
  5. I'm going to start off by referring to a couple of posts which are just been made – one by your own member of staff and my response And hopefully that extract from the discussion explains pretty well what the feature suggestion is. At the moment you can configure the desktop view quite well – particularly in terms of the sidebar. You can configure it to be on the left-hand side of the right hand side. However, positioning on the mobile view seems to have been left out and I would almost suggest that this might be "legacy" – something that was decided when mobile phones weren't used so predominantly for accessing forums – but they certainly are now. Our Google analytics suggest that 60% or better of people who come to our forum are coming using a mobile phone. So the suggestion is that in addition to being able to configure a sidebar left side a right sided in desktop view – one should be able to configure mobile view separately and designate announcements et cetera to appear either of the top or the bottom of the mobile view. Our announcements in the contents of our left-hand sidebar are important but in a mobile view, there's just too much of it at the top of the page and it would be much better placed at the bottom of the page. However apparently we can only do that if we decide to put the sidebar on the right hand side and that's not something we've ever done and we would prefer not to do it.
  6. Thanks for this and thanks for taking the time to have a look. I never imagined that placing the sidebar on the left side of the right side would effect where it appeared in the mobile view. I wonder if that is written anywhere? Yes I think it would be an important feature not only to designate left side or right side in desktop you but also top or bottom in mobile view – especially as mobile access to these forums is so significant nowadays. I'll do exactly as you suggest that I will refer the feature request to your post and to my post on this topic.
  7. I started applying some markers and are beginning to realise how incredibly useful they are going to be – especially if they can become searchable. Here's what I've configured so far:
  8. My brain is getting scrambled! I don't altogether understand where locking/unlocking the topic came in
  9. Thanks for all of this – and no I haven't tried it out so I don't know about the notifications. As it didn't seem to be mentioned in the list of features, I assumed it didn't exist. I'll actually have to go and try it!
  10. Hi, our mobile view is cluttered with the various announcements that we have before people actually get down to the body of the forum. Although we are using 1/3 party announcement application, it's the same if we use the standard Invision announcement system. You can configure the announcement in all sorts of ways that you can't configure them to appear or not appear in mobile view – or to reposition them, for instance that the bottom of the page in mobile view. If you want to have a look – www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk – look at it in mobile view
  11. Interesting point. I hadn't noticed that but what you are suggesting would be a very useful refinement.
  12. And here are two more feature requests. First of all, in designating the groups who can apply the markers, might it be possible simply to set it generally so there is a default rather than having to alter each new marker when it is made. Secondly – and much more useful – would it be possible to be able to search on the marker. So where the various search criteria are such as topics, this forum, et cetera – could add search on "marker" and then say which marker you want to search on
  13. It seems to work very well. In the "community" tab in the admin CP done at the bottom there is "markers". The settings are there. You can set which groups you want to be able to mark – and other than that everybody can see the markers. You can mark or unmark – and you can designate a range of different markers. So already here is a feature request – Any chance that if a thread is marked, a notification can be sent to the owner of the thread telling them what has happened – marked or unmarked and what kind of marker
  14. Hi, looking forward to seeing the 4.6 version of this. It looks extremely useful. I hope you don't mind me suggesting a feature when I haven't even installed the existing version! – Any chance of making the flags viewable only by particular groups – as well as designating particular groups who are allowed to place the market in the first place. Thanks
  15. So it was that easy! Thanks very much indeed 🙂
  16. Hi, this is crazy but it's so long since I needed to find a user's registration number that I don't know where to look any more. Frankly I thought that they were easily accessible and maybe some things change. Anyway, can somebody tell me where I can find a user's registration number please. Thanks
  17. Well I'm sorry – and I hope it didn't cause too much difficulty for you to develop it. It was an excellent idea and far too cheap – well done.
  18. Yup, I hear what you say – but even this morning I was checking somebody's membership number by simply reading their profile the post. Now the information is disappeared completely.
  19. Well maybe there is some conflict with something else because before I install the update it showed the member number and now it doesn't
  20. Hi, thanks for the update which I just installed. However it seems that certain information is no longer available. For instance the membership number used to be available and now it's not. This is very handy to be able to get an idea immediately of how long somebody had been a member of the forum. Also when you clicked on a user's name on a post it would pop up and give you information such as the reputation value. This no longer displays either. Is this intentional? Actually the reputation is still there. It disappeared bit of now it's come back. But the membership number doesn't seem to be available any more even if I switch your application off
  21. Yes, Soundboard is a great idea and a very useful plug-in. Invision once their platform to be generally used – and that means that people who are members of multiple forums might have them all lined up in separate tabs. At the moment there is no choice as to the notification sound and so that means that when you get an alert, you have no idea which of your Invision tabs it's coming from. This is really crazy. Amazing that they've left it to a developer to come up with this idea and it's a great shame that it doesn't work with the new version. If Invision really want their platform to be used as the platform of choice by forum owners, then one thing they could do is to help people distinguish them with different notification alerts – chosen by the administrators or by the individual member – as was possible with Soundboard
  22. I've installed the fix and everything works beautifully. Thanks once again for your great support and rapid response
  23. Hi, our Webmaster has applied that file but I'm afraid that the duplicate problem still exists. I'm sending you a private message
