It would be really helpful if all images uploaded to the site (whatever the starting format) were converted to jpeg or webp for the thumbnails. Being both compressed formats they would allow faster loading and greater space optimization.
In my case I have a gallery full of PNG images in high resolution and obviously the thumbnails being in the same format even if at a lower resolution require a high loading time.

but you can hide swiper slider on topics page with css
add this in custom.css of your theme

I have a question however, when a normal user posts an idea, he can choose if another user can vote negatively (see image), is it possible to disable this option? I would like that all ideas can be rated negatively regardless of the user's will, or maybe leave this option only to certain roles

I dont see any issues on my sides 
plus achievements is new nothing of that is modified by  me to cause anything 
if you have modified templates then you will need to revert them back to default or update them for ips 4.6.x

last time i checked there were no changes in templates so all works fine if you update your site 
there is a new version coming tho with many new changes hopefully in the following weeks

I would want this as a site-wide feature (for user content). A 5 MB PNG screenshot would usually just be 100 KB as JPG. 

As the title suggests, in my gallery I upload high resolution PNG images, I want the thumbnails to be compressed jpeg instead of png. Where do I set this?

I think there is a misunderstanding.
The OP and I would like to use Invision Community as authentication source (Provider) for another application that requires a OpenID Connect Compliant Provider.
(Which is not something where the "Login with Apple" is very useful as that pertains to logging into Invision Community)

I can work that in. 4.5 is gonna be a bit of a hump to grind through all the updates for my apps/plugins but if its an easy add I'll try and get it there for the 4.5 release, otherwise a little after.
