    Website Footer v2 2.0.2.tar
Sorry, I had to close down the site due to issues with the software which I was using. Sadly, I cannot use my own forum for downloads.
  2. Thanks

I did a little research, I guess you mean the plugin by @TDBF
There is also a version 2.0, but the DL site is down too ...

    You could try https://www.invisioneer.org/marketplace/
If it isn't out there, it looks bad.
In that case I would recommend to switch to a plugin that is still supported.

I have taken a quick look at your site, and before we continue, you really need to take a look at your 3rd party installations. At present you have errors being logged constantly from them, so even getting to the error messages you mention here is proving difficult.
    Currently you have:
A banner at the top of the page stating you have PHP8 incompatible items present. Thos will break things, and you need to address this
36 x 3rd party applications. 16 of these are stating there are updates, so at least 16 are out of date, and there is no guarentee the others arent either. You would need to check. I would highly suggest checking and cutting back on these where you can
28 x 3rd party plugins. As with the above,  there are 3 of these showing you they are out of date at last, and it may well simply be the others dont check for updates.
You also have 3rd party themes that are showing out of date on there.
For context here, just of the 3rd party plugins & applications, there are 222 3rd party hooks, meaning 222 possible points of failure outside of the main software.

WP V0RT3X reacted to Sonya* in Challenge: we tried to register for the trial ;)
FYI, yesterday a friend of mine wanted to register for a free 30-days trial of Invision Community.
We have tried his working email @web.de and get "You are not allowed to use that email address on this site." We have tried his alternative email @t-online.de and get "You are not allowed to use that email address on this site." We then registered other emails with @gmx.de and @mail.de and get "You are not allowed to use that email address on this site." Finally, we succeeded with @freenetmail.de 😓 The confirmation email from sales@invisionpower.com went straight into the spam folder. We had to fill out the captcha multiple times. Every time before we get the message "You are not allowed to use that email address on this site." Another time for successful email confirmation and then another time for the account creation. A form for account creation with three mandatory security questions and a full postal address looks huge. To get a trial with your competitor, all we had to do is to enter the working email address (@web.de) and then confirm it. Then we get login URL and login credentials. No manual creation of the account was needed. No security questions, captchas, full postal address etc. The welcome email was delivered into inbox.
While I understand that you try to combat spam registration. The whole process to get the trial was tedious. My friend would have given up if I had not persisted proceeding and helped him. Just to inform you, that you do not make it easy to register for trials.

Yes, search for 'lazy' in the admincp to find the setting.
Lazy loading does offer a substantial performance improvement in embed and image heavy sites, so you may want to reconsider.

Hello. There are themes where the mobile menu sticks to the screen header when scrolling on mobile devices.
When you click on the mobile menu, the scroll automatically scroll up the screen, I suggest removing this function! Molule: ips.ui.drawer. JS code:
    show = function () { window.scrollTo(0, -1);

It sounds like a doorway technique, called cloaking. You will be penalized by search engines if you try it.

Most of the developers still active (myself included) are using this site to list the modifications: https://www.invisioneer.org/marketplace/
When you click on the Get This File button in every file, you'll be redirected to the developer's site. 👍

Two years later and people still don't know how to get back to the top of a web page on their devices? The Internet must be a confusing bottom-of-page place.

I can confirm that Back 2 Top 1.0.2 by V0RT3X still works on the latest version if IPS 4.7.xx. We have it installed on our communities.

This one probably works with 4.4 too, but  you should double-check with the developer just in case: https://v0rt3x.dev/files/file/8-back-2-top/

Since the file is available from the developer's site, you'll be able to download it without being restricted by the 4.7 version check of the marketplace.

I'd like to extend a public invitation to all IPS clients and the third-party community to celebrate the opening of the free listing of files on the Marketplace Directory of Invisioneer.org.
    https://www.invisioneer.org/marketplace/
What is the Marketplace Directory on Invisioneer.org?
The Marketplace Directory is a free list of files by authors. Its goal is simple: a free, centralized list for you to browse third-party files.
No files are sold or supported on the site itself. You will be redirected to the author's site for payment and support.
You will find the Marketplace Directory to be immediately familiar:
Same categories and structure as the IPS Marketplace Same IP.Downloads app as the IPS Marketplace  Over 300+ files have already been listed in the Marketplace Directory, and we hope more will be listed as developers and themers update their files.
    Why visit Marketplace Directory?
The Marketplace Directory will never be a perfect substitute for the IPS Marketplace, which had deep integration with the ACP and directly processed payments on behalf of clients.
However, as soon as it became known that IPS was shutting down its Marketplace, it became clear that clients would confusingly need to go to multiple websites. Purchased 5 plugins from 5 different developers? You need to visit 5 different sites for support and payment.
The Marketplace Directory doesn't totally solve the problem, but it's a step in the right direction.  It consolidates files by authors who wish to list together, and makes file discovery and author tracking so much easier.  There is power in collaboration, and the Marketplace Directory is a great example of the most trusted third-party developers coming together in the spirit of community.
    What is Invisioneer.org?
Invisioneer.org is a broader project of mine to offer a suite of resources to help IPS owners and admins launch better communities - and to hopefully learn alongside you.  It's my goal to build an "ecosystem of success" around IPS owners and admins as we compete and thrive together on the modern web:
IPS helps you compete with community software Third-party developers help you compete with themes and extensions Invisioneer.org helps you compete with community strategy My goal behind Invisioneer.org is to help you compete - and win - with the "soft skills" of community management that are just as important as the technology: crafting a community strategy, leading with emotional intelligence, and leveraging best practices from disciplines like behavioral economics, psychology, sociology, and leading community consultancies.
The Marketplace Directory is an important part of Invisioneer.org, and one component of the ecosystem of success for IPS clients to leverage.
What do I do with my files?
Purchases and renewals have stopped on the IPS Marketplace, and the Marketplace itself will shut down on October 30 2023 according to IPS.
To continue receiving support and updates to your active Marketplace files, you will need to transfer your purchases' license keys directly to the author. To find the license keys for all purchases, go to My Purchases.
Active authors have posted information on their file descriptions or in the support topic about their own support sites.  If you purchased a file from a developer who doesn't have information yet, you will need to reach out to that author.

WP V0RT3X reacted to Randy Calvert in Marketplace Closure
If they're not longer responsive, the same thing that would happen even if the marketplace remained open... you could continue using the application as long as it works.  But given there are no new updates or support...  it would mean if you run into problems later you would be on your own in terms of figuring out what the problem is.
IPS does not own the plugins/applications.  It's not for them to give to someone else.  That would be like me giving your website to someone else.  It's not my right to do that.  🙂

These are the ones I meant, try to rebuild them and investigate how they work. Then think of a SIMPLE project you would like to realize with Pages. Some kind of directory or whatever and just go for it.
If you need help, search the forums, ask questions and also take a look at sites like W3Schools, or simply Google it. The basics of HTML, CSS and so on, probably no one will explain here, because that would go beyond the scope.
