  1. There are some guidelines, for example for their release notes and afaik some kind of recipe database.
  2. No, but if you are interested ... https://v0rt3x.dev/store/product/1-freelancer-page/
  3. In business since 2006 and currently working primarily with Invision Community and WordPress. Among other things, I am a founding member of a german language support site for Invision Community since its launch in 2020. During my career I have been involved in many projects of different kinds, from video streaming to online gaming to large image gallery sites, so much more than just internet forums. Sounds interesting? If you want to know more, feel free to contact me directly.
  4. Wrong, you don't need an own shop (not even own forum for support). You can use a third party service, FetchApp or DPD for example. You post your application in the new Marketplace just like now, but instead uploading a file you post a link to the file you have uploaded there. They handle all the rest, payments etc. and for support you use the forums of the new MP. One of the biggest XF developers is using it for years.
  5. I think this is the best decision IPS has made in years. The only thing customers will lose is some comfort, but the bottom line is that it is the best for all. What you are suggesting is that developers have to release 2 versions. Means a lot more work and then have to pay to release a free version. Why should someone do that? I promise you nothing will be lost, there will be even more. More applications, more translations... more freedom. Not on this website, just on another one.
  6. Somewhere here is a thread users posted links to their communities.
  7. Examine the source with rightclick 😉 Do you have any experience with html/CSS?
  8. https://invisionfocus.de/files/file/36-sticky-sidebar/
  9. If you want something like this use Pages as CMS. If the main site is more important than the forum, use a WordPress forum plugin instead.
  10. I don't think such an application would generate many sales. Calculate the time it takes to create something like this, provide support, client wishes to implement and updates versus a few bucks you earn with it. Better create something with Pages (I already did something like this for a client).
  11. https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_accordion.asp
  12. Hi, I don't recommend to embed the whole forum in WordPress. Better create some blocks with IPS Pages and place them in your templates or whatever pagebuilder you are using.
  13. Sadly currently available for purchase.
  14. If you want autoembeds you need a plugin like there are for other tubesites in the Marketplace. Btw you know you can't easily embed http in https?
  15. You have tons of ads and whatever on your page, I guess they are the problem. I haven't taken a closer look because I closed it after not even 10 seconds like I usually do with such ad-infested sites.
  16. Hi, I once had an IPS site with a few thousand pdf magazines too. I used pages with a tab solution. Tab one is a magazine info, tab 2 the cover as jpg and tab 3 the full pdf to read online for registered members. I was using a tool with a couple of options (download, print, etc.), this is the mouseover "player" ... Should be possible with a new tab or popup too, but I wasn't using it with the attachment system, I had a custom field for the magazine ID. Made it easier to upload or move files because you don't have to edit the article itself.
  17. I agree, a lot should be in the core that is only availiable via plugin.
  18. There is afaik a plugin that can do exactly this.
  19. Hi, what guide? constants.php is not a file/page to show to users.
  20. You can DL it here too https://invisionify.com/files/file/29-fx-pages/
  21. Single php file =>$0 Buying and always renewing the Pages app for ONLY ONE single page =>$$$ Your code/the content is the same and you can also use the IPS navigation and your theme. A good and free editor has FTP build in too when you save your file. I don't say Pages is a bad app, but totally overpowered and much too expensive for cases like this.
  22. Start with creating a filename.php with something like this ... <?php require_once('init.php'); \IPS\Dispatcher\External::i(); $html = 'Lorem ipsum ...'; \IPS\Output::i()->sendOutput( \IPS\Theme::i()->getTemplate('global', 'core')->globalTemplate('Supertolle Seite', $html)); Then check out sites like w3schools and fill the file with your content. For landingpages and so on you don't even need the pages application.
  23. Back to topic, I'm using this as some kind of external comments section for my little private gaming blog now and it's doing the job good so far 👍
