  1. Hello,

On the community forum I assist with managing, we have a few sections where only all threads are private besides the one the user posted. Admins want to be able to tag a user attached to, for example a complaint, for their viewpoint/statement on the matter at hand. Is there a way to do that within IPS while keeping the forum section private? We have these sections to limit community involvement and input when these complaints and such are put out while we investigate.

Anything helps and thank you for assisting,

    Hashbrown

  2. Hello,

I apologize for the silly question but how would I extract the data from a theme's XML files? I like to have my edits to themes on my desktop so I can switch back and forth between templates faster on VSCode compared to the AdminCP theme section.

    Thank you for your help.

Unfortunatly IPS doesn't have such a feature where you can define the other user groups, but you're able to show the topics only to the author and staff members(moderators)

That is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much!

  4. Hello,

I am fairly new to IPS and I am loving so far after switching from Xenforo. However, I am having one issue. With Xenforo, I was able to set a node to be viewed by members, however other members topics were unable to be seen unless they were of a certain user group. Is that possible with IPS or am I just missing something?

    Thank you for your time.
