  1. Is there a way to have Brilliant delete messages in Discord that're notifications from a thread on the forums that've been deleted (usually due to being flagged as spam)? Our forums stay pretty clean but any topic created gets a message in an activity channel in Discord. This message remains even once a spammer has been flagged and their posts deleted.
  2. Getting [[Template classifieds/front/view/view is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] Again. I have checked and there are no modifications to this specific file but even so I created a fresh theme using the IPB defaults and got the same error. Last time this happened it was a permissions error and I fixed it by getting a new .tar/.zip off you and updating it that way. I can't do that anymore with the new marketplace system of plugin management 😞 I understand that this is most likely a server configuration error that keeps causing this issue but if possible could I try and fix it with your latest version zipped? I didn't notice this problem in the last two updates. It was 2019 when this last occured. Edit Figured it out. Make sure your Trader Feedback plugin is up to date too!
  3. Quarterly update until I get an answer on this: Users still cannot delete/close/mark their 'expired' ads and still get contacted about them. Why is there no way to allow people to deleted/close/relist/generally-interact-at-all with their expired ads?
  4. Like this please. My mods will love you for it:
  5. I'm not sure why this hasn't been acknowledged yet or if I'm missing something obvious but this is becoming a bigger issue on our forums. Users cannot edit an expired ad, but people can still PM them about it (obviously) and this is very frustrating as there's no way for them to close or hide their listing. Is there any reason why the default isn't to allow users to mark an item as 'complete' even once it's expired? Seems fairly nuts.
  6. Asking again outside of PMs this time for a feature that allows people to mark advertisements as 'completed' (or whatever) after they have expired. There are many people who are having to renew advertisements simply to be able to close them properly and avoid getting messages about items that are no longer available.
  7. Agree. I thought this was a bug on our end but it turns out that it doesn't exist.
  8. Additionally have an issue where no images currently show in the summary of the classifieds home page. I'm wondering if this is down to an unsanitised summary in one of the listings because nothing else has changed. Will PM you more details but just posting here in case anyone else is having the same issue.
  9. @InvisionHQ I am getting an error when users attempt to delete their attachments: Full log PM'd to you.
  10. For anyone looking in the future: This seemed to be down to the folder permissions but changing all of them for the entire directory, files, subdirectory etc. did nothing for me. I backed up and deleted the contents of /classifieds and then simply used the IPB 'upload new version' tool again - this worked fine.
  11. @InvisionHQ Unfortunately when I use the 'upload a new version' feature in IPB I'm getting this error: 1C133/9 The application you uploaded cannot be installed because it is not a valid application, the archive is corrupt or the file and directory permissions in /applications do not allow it. Using the classifieds1.3beta1(IPB4.4).tar Temporarily 777-ing the folder in /applications didn't help either. I can try a a manual overwrite? Was on/still am on 1.1.9
  12. No, I did not realise there was a new release. I'll give it a shot now. ACP didn't tell me there was 🙂
  13. As you may already be aware, the 4.4 update appears to have broken some of the templating. Yes, I was sure to create a brand new base theme just to be sure it wasn't any edits we'd made. [[Template classifieds/front/browse/category is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]
  14. I'm having an issue where the 'Max age for random items that show on the index' setting resets to '0' (from, say '7') during each update tick (i.e. once a minute from what I can tell. This effectively means the setting isn't working, and I'm not sure what to do. Is there some way to hard code this to 7 days in the files? Thanks! Edit: I should mention that even when setting the value in settings.php to something other than 0, it still appears to go back to only showing the very oldest items after a minute or two. (i.e. goes back to '0', even if it doesn't say as such in the admin options).
  15. Has anyone suggested adding a comment box to the 'make an offer' popup yet?
