Probably not, MySQL 5.7 is EOL and has been since October. Why do they not offer a non EOL version of MySQL?

considering 5.7 is EOL, I would recommend upgrading to 8.0.x anyway. An inplace upgrade should be trivial since you have little/no data in the database. 

it shouldn't be difficult to adapt the apache redirect to the nginx rule. If you are struggling with that there are utilities that can help as well. 

I was having this issue on some threads on my board, specifically where we talk about music and lots of youtube videos are linked. This plugin helped solve the problem immediately after installing. It seems like all the youtube videos attempting to load at the same time is crashing some memory limit in safari/webkit on iOS

Just adding that this was the case for both .12 and now .13 - does seem to be an issue on twitters end. Clearing cookies and cache does not fix including community cache.

well, they are fired - I would recommend others make the same choice. 

I hate ezoic - I think there was a div/span with some of their js overlapping something with the first widget and causing this issue.

getting some js errors on those 2 blocks specifically. nothing else though. 

those 2 blocks don't seem to have a dedicated/valid ID and just bug out

just tried that still not working Feel free to try yourself using IPS Default theme at the bottom its still enabled. 

you have permission to delete/move any widget you want, but preferably I want the twitter timeline (already hidden) and the in thread sidebar clear.

I got it to "go away" by unfeaturing all products and now it's hidden because it's not showing, but it looks like it's glitching CLS a little bit which is an issue. the block itself seems bugged. 

yeah even disabling the discord one doesn't change the ability to edit on that page. 

Still can't get it to delete anywhere else I'm using incognito on chrome and edge - can try firefox

So even moving that block from the side to the top bar results in no changes as well. 

adding other blocks and removing them works just fine, it's just these specific blocks that will not go away. also the configuration menu is now not opening for some of these blocks. I've now tried in firefox with the same results. 

I'm not getting any errors on the ajax calls when submitting by "finish editing" 

if you click into any thread you should be able to see what I'm talking about - I meant to put that in the forum root not in thread and now I can't get the featured products one to go away there aren't any other blocks populated on those pages.

The twitter one and discord one have been an issue for a while, but I've just ignored it until now. Let me try deleting the discord block entirely and trying again.

using block manager I can add and edit things but cannot remove the featured product or twitter widgets at all. Is there somewhere I can edit this other than the block manager?

Ack - I did notice that a while back there was some cc brute force attacks using the donation method probably safest to disable for now. Thanks for the heads up @Jim M is there any way to allow guests to check out other than donations?

Is there a simple trick to allowing guests to donate, I'm getting an error as guest where the page is not accessible to check out.

Hmm. I'm gonna try clearing caches one more time after this index builds again and cross my fingers. Interesting so there shouldn't be a way to drop or truncate the index from the board software (in elastic)? 

This problem has returned. I tore down the elasticsearch cluster, rebuilt it from scratch with latest versions - index just drops in the middle of the night. There is no errors in the elastic logs. The only servers that have access to the elastic cluster are the web boxes that are reverse proxied behind haproxy so it seems highly unlikely that someone is sending a drop index command out of band of the software. 

@Matt do you know what scheduled tasks call the prune() I can take a look there and monitor it. I've got a full grafana and prometheus monitoring setup and can get pretty much any diagnostic data you need, but this is pretty frustrating for such a large community - using mysql is kind of a last resort because the performance isn't all that great. 

figured it out - it's not under permissions it's under the content tab of the group under edit.

star ratings show up

can't rate them.

I cannot seem to figure out how to get ratings out of 5 stars to be interactive, or even just set by one user for items when reviews are not enabled. If reviews are enabled they allow star ratings, but if they are not there is no interactivity on the stars at the top of the article.

I've checked group permissions, database permissions, forum permissions to no avail. I must be missing something obvious?
