  1. Self hosting setup here. After the last 2 updates went smoothly, this update is acting up as before. The update experience should be flawless. Already by experience I know how I can restart a stuck update. Had to do it twice, each time the update routine said I had to upload manually ( where ? ). Each time restarting the browser (Safari), because Invision has incorrect cache management. Then the third time it actually worked WITHOUT changing anything on my setup. Not really rock solid. If the same code acts up twice and then works the 3th time, I have questions… Then I get the 501 errors in the middle of the update. I know now - also from experience - I have to reload in order to get the update to continue. Again, this should not happen. This is a plain vanilla web site, the only plug-in is a language file - en even that update goes wrong with a 501. After which I hope it is installed correctly, but not really sure. This site is running on a Synology NAS. No tinkering, just plain graphical installs. I expect that a commercial product does not act up when updating it. If I want to tinker, I would use freeware and open source software. Getting the "new release" sign - which I cannot ignore, I always have this awkward feeling in my stomach, because I know that possibly some interesting times are about to follow.
