  1. Good Day, I went through the F.A.Q. and read the posts here and still need a bit of help. It's very possible I missed the information. If so, just send me in the right direction. On the Articles page of my site, I would like to remove the background image from the header (see screenshot).   3. Good Day, I am having the same issue as CrashPush said... I read through the posts but did not see a resolution. Below are the details and screenshots. My site's URL: Storm Shelter. It is for an interactive roleplaying game so this is not urgent. I installed the .tar via Applications (downloaded from the Marketplace today). I made sure it was enabled, then went to Community > Forums > My Wiki Forum to set it up. My set-up looked similar to the screenshot above. I went back to Applications to try uninstalling and reinstalling, there is not an uninstall option. I ran the Support tool and that did not help. Here are screenshot examples from my site. Please note, we are under construction so I only have a test topic or two. I am using a custom theme from IPS Focus. I am using examples from the forum that has a topic in it.   4. Good Day, My apologies for being a bother! I am running IPS 4.3..2 and have installed the most recent release of the Linked Accounts app. Everything was working just fine until today. Prior to all of the updates, after switching to a linked account, it showed both the parent account and the linked account in Who's Online and Recently Browsing. As of a few minutes ago, it has stopped doing that. It shows the parent account only in Who's Online and show's "no registered users" in Recently Browsing. I honestly don't know if this is a bug with IPS or if I've inadvertently stumbled on a bug in the application. This is not urgent as everything else seems to be working.   5. @HeadStand or anyone that can help! Coding Clueless (me) is back with another question. Regarding my original request... Is is possible to style the <*hr> tag that I added to the view template so that it matches the one I use to separate post body from the post's footer... see screenshot. Here is the code that was added to my theme's custom.css /* Separator between post and Edited text */ .cPost_contentWrap [data-role="commentContent"] > .ipsType_reset.ipsType_medium.ipsType_light:before{ content: ''; display: block; height: 0px; border-top: 1px dashed currentColor; opacity: 0.6; margin: 20px 0; } Again, if this is not doable, no worries at all.   7. Good Day, I absolutely love the template system. I use it in various forums, but mostly in our story writing forums to provide header information for the post itself. There is one thing I would like to add or change - if it is possible. Please give me the Village Idiot reply because I am not tech-savvy. I can make basic changes with good instructions. I won't be offended! We have all of the template sets displaying at the beginning of each post, like "header" information. Is there a way to add an automatic horizontal rule line between the template information and the body of the post - instead of trying to get people to remember to put it in manually. If it's not doable, no worries! Worth asking ;) See screenshots....

Good Day, I just purchased this application for my site: http://www.sagaswildwest.com/ When enabled I receive the following error on my site's front-end although the ACP works just fine and I can add questions and answers to the FAQ. I ran the support app, made sure my site was up-to-date, deleted the FAQ application and uploaded a clean file, etc. Currently, I have the FAQ disabled. I would like to get it to work as it looked to be the friendliest and best of the offered FAQ applications. I do have other applications installed and have not checked for conflicts. I need the other applications for my site. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

  14. My apologies ahead of time if I am asking a stupid question. I am very new to IPS! 1st Question: Does the message (lower and max limits) display only when a writer is violating its requirements? I have installed it and was trying to test it in my test forum before going live with it in the story writing forums and nothing I did made the message display. What I wanted the plugin for might now be how it was designed though which is my bad. I was looking for a something that would alert my writers to how many words they had written so far and when they were approaching the upper limit of what we allow before asking they start a new reply or a new post entirely. We're an RPG site. 2nd Question: Will the plugin ever be upgraded so it displays a post's word count after it is saved / submitted? Thank you so much for your time.
  15. That's what I needed to know! The email addresses are real. I set up a domain on my server to be used for email addresses for our "character" accounts. I understand why IPS prohibits signing up for multiple accounts on one email address, but it majorly impacts storytelling type roleplay. Anyway, the issue is apparently somewhere in my set-up since my server host says the email logs are clean. Thanks for the help! Narrows down what I need to look at.
  16. Adriano, Good day! I need a little bit of help. This might be an overall issue with me not understanding IPS well yet...so, my apologies if that's the case. I'm still learning. I am trying to track down an issue with getting email alerts when we do mentions. We use this feature to tag the next writer in the story to add their segment. I searched on this topic to see if anyone else had this problem, but did not get any results back. I have also contacted the host I use for our email domain. They did not find any issues based on the few examples I was able to provide them. The scenario: We have created multiple character accounts so that we can write our scenes under that account. To do this, I set up an email domain since IPS does not allow multiple registrations on a single email address. So, for example, I have my main account (Stormwolfe) and I have a character account that uses the domain I created (bobthecharacter@domain.com). The issue: When someone mentions "me" (Stormwolfe), I get the email alert that I was mentioned in a post. But, if they forget and mention BobtheCharacter instead. I don't get the email and sometimes don't even get the notification on the site. I know I probably need to provide you with more information, but not sure what you would need for checking out this. Just starting to work on tracking down the issue since my email domain host declared everything working correctly. Thank you very much for your time, ~~ Stormwolfe
